GANJAMAN WITHOUT SMOKES.
You must have heard by now, that on Thursday our Bubu signed the #Nottooyoungtorun
bill into law. That means, the minimum age to run for President is now 35 years, down from 40 years. State and Federal representatives’ age moved from 30 to 25, while the age limit for senator and governorship seats remain the same — 30 years of age.
It is a fantastic development, one that the government will rush to add to the growing list(growing list indeed) of their achievements since assumption of office. Signing the bill is commendable, but could this be a ploy to assuage the Nigerian youths who have been sidelined and insulted by his administration? You know say election don dey reach and so many good but temporary things will start happening. I just dey beg our youths; thou shalt not be deceived again.
Whatever the plot, one thing is clear, our youths have no age excuse again not to run. So when next 'they' wanna employ you as a thug, please run(you what I mean). If they come with their fake campaign promises, RUN!
