dinner was rice, charred corn, baked beans, broccoli, pineapple salsa, and HC ranch 😍 I went over 200 cals today because I gave in and ate SEVEN cookies at work, but instead of guilting myself into skipping dinner, I came home and made something healthy 😊 that’s a win in my book 👏🏻

It has been a couple months of eating out and skipping the gym. Luckily I got one good week in before going on vacation, where I ate whatever I wanted and didn't workout once. But I'm ready to be back to my normal. I have decided to do 5 days a week at the gym and eating well 80% of the time. I'm hoping to get my head back in the game and my body ready to hike the Manitou Incline. I'm planning on posting more on my story to keep myself accountable so if you need a buddy to call you out on your shit, we can help each other out! Happy Sunday everyone! Just a little motivation for you to stick with whatever it is you're doing to be a healthier version of yourself 😁. You didn't gain weight fast and you won't lose weight fast, but you can do it! Stay consistent and positive!
Keeping it simple this Saturday night ✌️ Since I've started sharing my journey on here I've had a number of people message me and talk about starting their own health journey and ask if I can give them some tips to get started. This is still so weird to me! I'm by no means perfect and I NEVER thought someone would look to ME for health advice! 🤷♀️ (But I kinda love it because I've made some pretty cool connections 💕) The biggest thing I try to convey is to keep it simple. Use common sense with foods. Eat lots of veggies 🍅🍆🥕🥒🥗 Get some protein. Not every meal needs to be an elaborate concoction. Is this the best tasing dinner I've ever made/had?? No. Could I have made this "better" by adding lots of butter, cheese, salt, ect?? Absolutely. But this keeps me full and serves my body. Have fun and experiment in the kitchen but if you're feeling overwhelmed or just don't know what to make, throw some veggies in the oven or a pan with some oil and seasonings then dig in 🍴I also make a point to say... DRINK YOUR DAMN WATER! 💦 Your body NEEDS it 😘

I can’t even begin to explain how exciting, educational, motivating, and emotional this past weekend was! So excited and great full to have this opportunity in front of me and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
The fact that all these women, who most have never met each other other than through social media, can all come together and have it instantly be a group of friends and sisters is incredible! I usually have this smoothie every night; I’m so addicted to it hahah. It’s healthy, but tastes like dessert! All that’s in this bad boy is frozen banana, almond milk, peanut butter, and chocolate protein powder. I usually chuck in a hug handful of spinach (doesn’t change the taste so it’s a sneaky way to add veggies to my day!) Literally so creamy and wonderful 😍
💛 JUNE UPDATE 💛 The beginning of this month was clearly struggle city for me but I’ve since gotten back on track and am feeling great! I hadn’t lost a single pound all month until like 3 days ago so I’m hoping to continue seeing more results soon! Also, keeping track of my goals this way is soooo helpful to me, I totally recommend it to all the visual people ☺️

coming at you all with yet another transformation picture!! i was very vulnerable with my post a couple days ago addressing my struggles with body dysmorphia and how much of a mental game losing weight can be, but one of the easiest ways for me to cope with it and remember how far i have come is with a transformation post! since my weight loss has been extremely slow and stagnant (i’ve literally been stuck between 167 and 169 since may) i’m trying my hardest to see the value in what i’m doing and remind myself that i’m in a much better place than i was six months ago!💖
I ran at a consistent speed for 5 mins today and thats so exciting! It was arms today, I just love the gym too much (also currently drunk oops)
