MOVIE REVIEW: Ahhh, the road trip, the ultimate place where people with longstanding issues can air all their grievances and eventually come to an understanding with one another. #Boundaries
takes characters who don't exactly get along and sticks them in a confined space to get them hash out their problems while on the road. Despite some stellar acting from #VeraFarmiga
, and #LewisMacDougall
, it just went exactly how we thought it'd go, but with way more naked caricatures. It is written in a way that introduces oddball characters to create opportunities for Plummer's character, who is a geriatric pot dealer, to do things that will make him look like a decent person despite years of being an asshole. Because of this, much of the film feels contrived and formulaic and tends to drag through its runtime. Still, those performances are great.
I’m still not quite good at drawing people, but I had to illustrate my fanfic (adventures and humour only, no shades of anything else 😂), so - my sincere apologies to Van Pelt, Bobby etc. as I’m honestly trying to improve my drawing skills. 😂

The Station Agent (2003) revolves around a dwarf who lives in an old train depot after the death of a friend and colleague. Fin, as he’s referred to, is played by Peter Dinklage in a breakout role. Fin is a quiet man who doesn’t interact much in public due to being uneasy with his dwarfism, but that changes when he meets a nearby food vendor named Joe, played by Bobby Cannavale. Joe talks nonstop, adding some humorous dialogue to the drama. The two befriend a local woman named Olivia, played by Patricia Clarkson, who finds Fin amusing, much like Joe. Fin’s love of trains results in the other two taking a liking to them, as well. In the process, the group bond over a homemade movie and dinner. Relationships are at the center of this heartfelt drama. It’s the type of movie that everybody can relate to. We all have acquaintances, new and old, that brighten our day when we’re feeling down. Not all is picture perfect, however, as conflicting personalities lead to disputes among the characters. Like all humans, these characters have their faults. It’s through these faults that we realize just how alike we are with each other. The three main characters embody that. Even though all three are of a different background, size, age, and gender, they can relate to each other’s emotions. The film does a great job of conveying the ups and downs of even the simplest of lives. It’s a charming little movie, and one that should be enjoyed by all people who take a liking to the authentic side of Hollywood.

Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
Directed by Peyton Reed
Starring: Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Peña, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Hannah John-Kamen, Abby Ryder-Fortson, Randall Park, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Douglas
This film creates a great sequel to the original film that captures everything that made Ant-Man fantastic while also developing the beloved characters further. Ant-Man and the Wasp tells the story of what Scott Lang, Hope Van Dyne, and Hank Pym were up to in the time between Ant-Man and Avengers: Infinity War. Peyton Reed crafts this film with so much of the spectacle of the first film but it cannot completely grasp the wittiness and off the wall humor that Edgar Wright brought to the first film. Paul Rudd perfectly adds to his already great character alongside the stellar performances of Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and the supporting cast. Abby Ryder Fortson also delivers so much acting potential for her age foreshadowing her blossoming career as a talented actress. Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne deliver averagely good yet not memorable additions to the cast respectively. Michael Peña also gives the film the stand out aspect of the spectacle with his perfect and creative acting job as Luis. The special effects are also top notch but the quantum realm does not convey the same marvelous sparkle and wonder as the psychedelic effects used in 2016’s Doctor Strange. Overall, I recommend this film to anyone who is a fan of Marvel, Ant-Man, film, and Michael Peña.
