WHAT IS HEALTH?
Health isn't just what you eat and how much you exercise. Our health is all around us! It's our environment, our friends, products we use, what we drink, what we watch/read/think and how much sleep we get. This is what determines our physical, mental and internal health. Then there are other parts to the equation we can't always control, sickness/disease, life circumstances, stresses. We cant always control these things or make them go away, but if we take control and make a conscious decision to better what we can, it will definitely start to make a difference.
But, Where do we start?
What do we do?
Here are a couple of things to help:
- drink more water/less sugary drinks
- eat more fresh fruit and vegetables/less processed foods
-get active! - doesn't have to be much to start with. A little stroll, get some fresh air, take your dog for a walk!
- take a closer look at your home environment. Is it clean? Can you reduce the amount of chemicals you use? Don't forget you breathe these and absorb them through your skin too. These can have a massive impact on your well-being.
-be more mindful of what we watch/read/listen to. Is what we're taking in, what we want to define who we are? We may not think it affects us but is does. - look at yours friends? Are they positive, do they bring out the best in you and encourage you to be/do better?
If everyday we make a conscious effort to do something a little different or a little better. You'll be surprised at not only how your health will improve but.. WHAT YO CAN ACHIEVE!!!
