I just had to see if I was actually making progress. It’s probably only noticeable to me.

So TWO MONTHS.
Two months of tracking my macros, but not necessarily keeping them where I should all the time...truth be told. I have had pizza probably every week and definitely had chocolate in mass quantities the last couple of weeks. Gonna have to figure out how to beat the blues with carrots.
Two months of trying to hit it hard and being injured doing one stupid thing after another.
It makes me mad. BUT I refuse to sit around and not exercise. I modify and do what I can until that tailbone pain sets in and makes me regret it.
So it’s small, but progress can still be made.
I’ve lost a couple of pounds. Up-down-steady-up-down. I’m not concentrating on the scale.
According to my calipers, I’ve lost 20mm of fat from the 3 locations I’ve been measuring. Say WHAT????
And I’ve lost at least 8 inches from the spots I’ve been measuring. Mainly my belly and hip/butt area.
If I was just weighing myself and not measuring in other ways, I would basically think I had made no progress, get discouraged, and seriously consider giving up.
NOT GIVING UP!

Tight Hamstrings? Me Too-- or at least I thought I did.
I've always had strong legs but I've never had flexibility that I desired. I would do a ridiculous amount of toe touches, and finally spoke to a PT and its helped a ton. Lie down with you legs out, bring your knee up, be careful to not pull your knee into your chest. This will ruin the exercise. Grab your knee and move your feet toward the sky like I am here. Only go after far as your muscles will allow and do not over stretch. Go slow. I did this daily for a bout two week and drastically changed my range of motion.
Exactly 3 months until Maldives and Greece... best get my butt into gear! Looking through holiday photos and starting to get really excited! Can’t wait for 5 weeks of beach time!
