I don’t go many back days without throwing some single leg rows in. These force you to really engage glutes and core. Squeeze that base leg glute, wrap torso to cinch your waist, and pull upper, middle and lower abs up and in towards your spine. Love mixing up my training and been having a lot of fun with resistance bands recently. They are a great way to add extra resistance, especially at the peak of the movement ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Notice how i actually squeeze the muscles and have a slight pause. A lot of people just move the weight up and down at the cost of anything however engaging the muscles is much more effective at developing muscle breakdown and therefore muscle size.
You can probably tell how fatigued I am just by looking at my form, which is pretty bad but felt okay so not too worried. Working at 75% of 1 rep max for 5x3, however only managed 3x3 before I called it. Followed this with some hyper trophy work.
Doms from the run this morning had me worried, but eased off.
