"Beneath Heaven tonight I sat on God's back porch taking the time to let my heart speak and listen to Jesus. I found the distant was close and the close was distant, the unknown scary the known even more scary. Every star danced gently and not one gazed down with the same light. The peace so tangible, I could reach out and touch it. I allowed each feeling of so full and yet so empty, so complete and so broken, so accompanied and so alone, so perfect and so imperfect, so alive and so numb, holding on and letting go, within the same breath to inhale and exhale love. As I walked away I knew, a piece of me quietly sits, a piece of me quietly rests, a piece of me wears the mask, a piece of me has gone, and the rest of me is on fire with the miracle of life given by God."
