🍴What I’m eating this week!
I plan my entire week out each Sunday because I like heading into the work week prepared and organised.
A few things I will mention (because I always get asked): • Yes, I only eat one main meal each day, however I also drink a large almond latte each morning and have snacks in the evening also (this week it’s macadamias because I’m doing no sweets) • Yes, I’m eating enough calories. • No, I don’t get hungry throughout the day. The almond latte keeps me full and I also drink 4 litres of water. • I get all my recipes from my head, cook books, google and instagram (however it’s mainly meat and veg this week so no real recipes)
Quiche this week using my FAVOURITE sour cream quiche base. I also used pre-chopped bacon because I just couldn't be bother chopping up bacon and the macros weren't too bad!!
Now I've been doing lazy keto this past few weeks and that will continue this week too. But once I start tracking again I'll add the macros to my posts as well 🤗
300g sour cream
Fillings of choice: spinach, onion, bacon, tomato, seasonings
🍽 preheat oven to 180c
🍽Mix ingredients together and pour into a baking pan
🍽 top with a sprinkle of cheese 🍽Bake until golden brown - about 35 - 40 mins
My bone broth was a success! The pup wouldn’t leave me alone until I drained the cup today 😂🐶 #beefbreath
Round 2 Zuchinni chips.. not as bad 🤗 Who else loves their chicken a bit too cooked? 🤤🤤
Left was me on holiday in September last year. I’ll be returning in September this year but I’ll be over 20kg/45lbs lighter.
I accepted I was overweight. It has been apart of my journey throughout motherhood. I knew I’d lose the weight one day and I’ve finally done it.
I wore a bathing suit last year but this year I’ll wear one and not feel down about myself. I will feel proud 💕
Woolworths HALF PRICE 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I wanted to have roast chicken with veggies tonight but I didn’t make it to the supermarket today so I just had to work with what was in the fridge. 🤔
So as always;
🌸grab out what I feel like eating.
in my tracker to calculate my #macros
and play around with measurements to make them fit my macros.
🌸Chop everything up.
🌸Chuck everything in a pan.
🌸Add cheese on top.
🤤this style of #fryup
always leaves me feeling satisfied!
Side note; I try to add #bonebroth
to my meals to keep my #electrolytes
in check. #keepketosimple
🍴 Dinner! Spicy sweet chilli and lime chicken breast pan friend in butter with salad 😋
These bad boys are half price at @woolworths_au
this week 👏🏼
Would be rude not to 🤗
🌲🐿 Picnic snacks! Had a day out with Dans fam so packed some delicious food to take with us.
Breakfast/lunch: Kransky, bacon and left over pork belly. My appetite is slowly coming back and I don’t feel and sound as sick. I’m glad I stayed home and rested, my body definitely needed it.
Yasssss 🍳🥓 = Bacon & Egg keto bagel for Sunday brunch 👆🏻🙌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
When you can smell bacon 🥓 cooking on the BBQ and the house still smells like freshly baked keto bagels that literally just came out of the oven.... I can see my near future is going to be very very keto yummy!
So this week starting from today I am going to consciously add 🍋lemon 💦water to my morning routine.... I’m not sure how scientifically accurate it is, though I have read it helps the liver with processing fat.... I have an abundant amount of lemons 🍋🍋🍋 on my lemon tree (you can see the tree through the window) so no excuses not to give it a go.... it can’t hurt...
It’s been a keto cooking frenzy Sunday at my place 👌🏻❤️ keto bagels, keto mini cheesecakes, keto rocket fuel latte (with MCT oil & almond milk)
Tried zucchini chips with a coconut flour, almond meal and herb coating.. they were as terrible as they look 🤣
And dinner last night. I crashed after eating this so didn’t get to post. Baked pork chop with steamed veg (those frozen steam pouches are so handy - I just pick out the carrot)
The final product(s)! Lots of lovely jelly-ish bone broth for drinking and fat for cooking 👌🏻👌🏻
Stalking my favourite website @ditchthecarbs
for some new meal ideas and I’ve decided on this dish. I cannot wait to try this out sometime next week 😋
Dinner = cauliflower mash and chicken... I couldn’t get through all of it...
lunch was around 4pm and it was half a cucumber and some keto dip...
I’m not going to lie, I am so guilty of doing this!! It’s not healthy and comparing myself to other people will not get me the results I’m after.
I’m learning to appreciate and feel comfortable with my body. I’m nowhere near my goal weight but I sure as hell look better than what I did 8 months ago! A little self love goes along way ❤️
- It’s actually so wild to me that I’m walking out of Kmart with these sizes.
I’m so used to just looking for a size 20-22 in everything and hoping it fits. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be trying on a 12 and it be too loose and have to grab a 10 (was a big make, but still!)
Crispy cheese bottom eggs with Avocado with some paprika and salt. So you know how the @diet_doctor
has that amazing crispy cheese omelette?! Well I thought why not make a crispy cheese bottom to my eggs! These are delicious 😋 swipe to see them in the making 😊
I almost succumbed to the usual go-to when I’m sick, vegemite toast, but downed some pseudoephedrine, got my arse into the kitchen and whipped this up instead. So glad I did, it def filled the spot.
I’m down with the flu and thought it the perfect time to give my first homemade bone broth a go - 20 hours in and looking good!
Recipe: Beef bones (approx 1.5kg) - salted and roasted for 30mins, 2 small onions halved (skin on), 2 small carrots roughly chopped (skin on), 2-3 celery stalks roughly chopped, 2 garlic halved (unpeeled), herbs (bay leaves, thyme etc), 2T apple cider vinegar and cover with water. Cook on low for 24 hours+. Strain, chill and remove fat from top. You should be left with a nutritious gloopy jelly-like bone broth. When reheated it will return to liquid :)
🐥 Weekend weigh in and the last couple of days kick-start updates (swipe)
Only 600g to go until I’m 30kg down 🙈 it’s amazing how much the human body can change in just 9 months! Will this upcoming week be the week I crack 30kg lost?
I’m so glad I’ve done this July kick-start challenge, it’s really helped get my mojo back (even if I would literally give my left big toe for just a bite of a Well Naturally coconut bar right now)
I feel lighter, happier, less anxious, more energetic and a bunch of clothes I got awhile ago that were snug now fit like a dream. I’m also very proud of myself for actually sticking with this, I haven’t been perfect and it hasn’t been easy - but I’m doing it! Being proud of myself is such a foreign feeling to me but it’s a very nice feeling 💕
Have a wonderful weekend lovers xx
