Thank You, Brian.
(Part Two of Two)
Here I am now, thinking I was gonna be done collecting the series soon with only needing the 'Death of Spider-Man Omnibus' and 'Ultimate: Fallout' and then @brianmbendis
pulls me back in by showing me the beauty of the Miles Morales character in 'Spider-Men'. I gotta do some more collecting, but, that's the great thing about comic books, or loving a story, or just admiring a character; the love never stops and to follow that thing you love to the ends of the earth gives you a sense of happiness, or fulfillment. Ultimate Spider-Man has brought me many things, and many feelings. I still remember crying at the age of ten when I truly thought Peter had died in 'Ultimatum', or the feelings that the end of "Death of the Goblin" brought me about losing a friend due to the cruel circumstances of their world. The series taught me a lot of things that eased the pains of growing up, which is really what the character is all about. That's truly how I feel about the series, cause it has shaped me from childhood to now, and I don't know who I'd be if I never stopped into that pharmacy with my dad that fateful day and found my copy of #112
. So, thank you Brian for giving me more things to look forward to finding in book stores, and for giving me something to look forward to ever since I was seven. Happiness is in short supply these days, but god damn it, you bring it to me every time I read your stories in this world. You changed my life man, and I'm glad to see the stories kept going strong, even after I thought I was done.
