is still one of my favorite places in #kansascity
I’ve painted it twice—on repurposed farmhouse windows. 😊 If any of you find yourselves in KC, I highly recommend seeing a performance there!
The paintings that I am most satisfied with are the ones I think about the least. When I can just shut my brain off and just focus on how the paint feels, watch the colors blend and almost stand back as it takes on a life of its own. These are the paintings that tell me when they are done. It felt good to let go and make this one after I getting into a fight with a different one... It’s liberating ! The way art-making is meant to be✨✨
