After a few years in my off/ growth season I’m fairly confident this element is ready to go!

Practise what you preach. Did some on court training when the sun blessed us with its presence the other week. This included motor neurone recruitment, fast feet into lateral sprints and then 10 x 2 court suicides 😳😅

Power Posing 🙌🏼 Earlier today I done a live video on Facebook on Power Posing. If you missed it go to my profile and check it out.
It was based on the book Presence by Amy Cuddy and her TED talk your body language may shape who you are.
I absolutely love the messages she drives through the book and the talk, because it is something absolutely free that we can implement every day. No one has to know, it can be our own little secret. Power Posing increases the testosterone (a confidence building hormone) and reduces cortisol (a stress hormone). This change will reduce our stress and anxiety and build confidence and our own self believe. Power Posing consists of high power poses, such as the super women pose (like in the picture) or hands above the head like you are doing YMCA. All you need is 60 seconds for this to be effective. Low power poses consist on sitting with arms and legs crossed, or holding a part of your body (holding the neck is the biggest display of vulnerability) and head down.
How often do you sit in a low power pose a day? In the car? At work? Waiting for an appointment? Waiting for a job interview?
If you want to simply and easily boost your self confidence, reduce your stress and anxiety and become more “yourself” adopt a power pose anytime you can. Your body will thank you for it. “Our bodies shape our minds, our minds sharp our behaviours, our behaviours shape our future” 💜
