Yesterday was pure holiday magic ✨✨✨
Nudging ourselves back in to December, one thing at a time 🎄☕️🍻😜
today we got in our rental car & drove—we didn’t know where we were going, but that didn’t matter; our best adventures always start that way ✖️

and I’m yearning for Iceland like woah. Still can’t believe we got to go this year and photograph this precious couples wedding. Is there a “pinch me” emoji? Is there are “yearning” emoji? Is there a “real life is great” emoji? ☺️ #icelandwedding
(EB Takeover Day 7 – Taiwan 🇹🇼)
That concludes my sharing of my experience in Taiwan as a student!! I hope it has inspired you to treasure the opportunity for exchange and to explore the world, be it Taiwan or anywhere else!
I've always believed that staying in another country for a long while will never be the same as coming over for a holiday. There's never the time to experience the local pace of life, or to indulge in traditional and local experiences and explore the less frequented areas. Of course the goal is to study, but don't forget the essence of exchange is to adapt, enjoy and embrace another country's culture; see the world in a different light in a slower pace. Things we take for granted might disrupt our sense of living in a foreign land e.g. recycling trash, lack of plastic bags, expensive travelling and groceries and laundry in humid weather. It is then we learn to appreciate things we have and things we need to improve on as a whole! Furthermore, away from our family, we learn to support and rely on our friends for help when we need it, and I would say that half the experience comes from the company you have as well!
I hope my sharing has been useful, and I hope exchange will be as good an experience for you as it is for me!

There is no such thing as death. In nature nothing dies. From each sad remnant of decay, some forms of life arise so shall his life be taken away before he knoweth that he hath it.
- Charles Mackay
The battery sites on the abandoned island of Tomogashima are completely mesmerising. Did not want to leave this place….

Design appreciation: these ancient Hawaiian navigational charts, mapping ocean currents and winds. The shells represent the placement of the islands. 🐚🌬🌊#hawaii #inthedetails #patterns
I’ve been meaning to post this picture for a while but couldn’t quite find the right words for it. As I am wrapping up this past season spent in the Philippines, I can’t help but feel so thankful. Thankful to the Lord for the opportunities He’s given me to travel the world. Thankful that He’s entrusted me with the Gospel of good news. Thankful most of all that He’s saved me from the world and given me new eyes, a new heart and a new perspective. I will hold this past season very close to my heart.
