I honestly can’t even remember life before I started meal prepping, but I do know I’m never. going. back. 🙅♀️ It seriously makes dinner (and lunch) time sooo much easier! 👯♀️
WHAT WENT DOWN:
• crockpot chicken (get the super simple recipe on my site - link in bio)
rotini chickpea pasta
• steamed broccoli 🥦
• a whole mess of @organicgirl
baby spinach under there (gotta get my iron in since I don’t eat a lot of red meat 💪)
• a dollop of @hopefoods
jalapeño cilantro hummus (you’ve gotta mix it with everything else - SO GOOD! 🤤)
I’ll be packing up some more of these goodies for work tomorrow, as well as some overnight oats to make my morning routine even quicker. 👍

I think the biggest mistake that people make when it comes to a healthy lifestyle is having an all or nothing mentality and letting interferences to their “perfect” healthy day completely set them off course. The fact is, some days you’re going to miss a workout, or you’re going to drink too much wine during a girls’ night. No one is perfect all the time. What matters is that you do what you can and put in the effort. .
Case in point: I feel pretty crappy today. I got stung by a bee yesterday & am having a weird reaction to it. My body aches today like I have the flu, and I woke up barely being able to move my ankle & with my back throbbing, which are things that never bother me — you got me good little bee! 🐝 I’ve been dragging, but this afternoon I made this berry kale banana 🍌🍒 smoothie bowl, eased into a yoga + cycling workout, & later took my dog for a walk. While it wasn’t the best workout, moving actually made me feel a bit better… & as for tonight, I’m going to take a Benadryl and lay my butt on the couch for the R&R that my body clearly is needing. .
My point is, do what you can to treat your mind, body & soul right, with whatever you have going on in your day. You are worthy. 💜🙏🏼
