I’m so excited to watch this book become a movie on Netflix soon!
So far I’ve loved this book and I definitely think it could make it into my top ten. Can’t wait to read more of it!
Happy National Ice Cream Day 🍦!
It’s been very sunny, aka perfect weather for some ice cream.
qotd: What company has the best ice cream?

- Books & Ice Cream
Yes, I took the easy way out with this prompt, but, I simply could not risk spilling something on the books (my precioussssss). I picked the first Lara Jean novel, because I heard that the main character is really into baking and the book is sweet as sugar. Then I added 'The Hating Game', because it's the closest I own to a summer read - funny, fast-paced and cute.
Q: Do you read typical 'summer reads'?
Tag-Time! I was tagged by @ajthelibrarian
for the #aestheticallypleasingbooktag
which is also my first book-tag (yay)! So thanks for tagging me!
1) Best color combo? Black, White, Red and Grey/Silver
2) Best font on a book cover? Depends on the genre and the general cover design, but anything fancy will spark my interest
3) Best simple cover? Pick any of Victoria Schwab's books (US & UK Editions)
4) Best chapter headings? The blood splatters in 'Stalking Jack The Ripper'
5) Best illustrations? Welp, I rarely stumble across books with illustrations... though the ones in 'Down Among The Sticks And Stones' were pretty dope
6) Best Spine? UK edition of the Lady Helen series
7) Favorite cover on the shelf? DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE BETWEEN MY BABIES

On to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! This is my favourite movie out of the HP movie franchise, so let’s see if it’s my favourite book of the series as well!! •
I loved HP and the Chamber of Secrets! Even though I’ve seen the movies (which, I know, aren’t completely true to the books), the books still make my jaw drop at all the twists the story makes! •
Which is your favourite Harry Potter book?
Hello, bookish lovelies 📚💕
QOTD: How do you get over a reading slump?
I don’t know if I’m going through a reading slump, or if I’m just tired. I’ve taken to napping a lot lately, so I haven’t been in the biggest reading mood.
Be magical today, lovelies 🦄
This week I decided to dive into two genres I usually find myself avoiding nowadays: YA and romance. The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake, by Aimee Bender, was a light, easy read about a young girl who is able to taste people's emotions through food. Dancing on Broken Glass, however, was much heavier and had more emotional depth. I find the personification of Death, though still mysterious and silent, intriguing. Hancock did a wonderful job exploring what it means to lose someone, especially a loved one.
Was a bit of an odd day for me today. Had a severe allergic reaction to a bee sting which has never happened before! Do any of you guys have any allergies?
Felices 19 a nuestra compa mas simpática!!! #Ya
falta poco para que no nos veas mas.
June Book Haul Part 2: Non-fiction
Sunday is probably my favorite day of the week since I can just listen to music and read! 📖📖📖
