Well, it’s my biggest gain to date. I’ve sat and cried in group but then I’ve been reminded about how I had the best weekend of my life and have made some amazing memories. I’m struggling mentally as this gain takes me into the next stone bracket and it takes me back to being obese. Today was the dreaded cardio flow form #80dayobsession I hate this workout so much! I want to like it but I dont think I ever will lol even after starting over. I just want to skip it🤣 I think that I just hate the first move which is the inch worm I feel like there are a million of them. I did my workout early and tried the #beachbody preworkout energize and it tasted so good! I just loved the energy it gave me and didn't make me feel weird later. The only problem with today was that my shoulder was hurting I think I tweaked it during my workout and it hurts to move my neck so I am doing some self care tonight with a heating pad and a massage from my husband. Hopefully tomorrow I can still workout. Well I did some #foodprep today It gas been awhile but I need to start making it a habit. When I prep isn't just for me It is a family thing lol they have to eat what I eat. Alright y'all dinner tonight was cauli-risotto and ribs. After 4 days straight carnivore I seriously felt amazing I lost 3lbs, my cravings were gone and I felt full faster. Then I messed myself all up yesterday and ate bad carbs while family was in town 😧 and felt horrible. Today I fasted untill 4pm and wanted some good carbs so I whipped up this dinner on my finest china 😉 and it was very satisfying. And I feel that's the thing that makes adherence feel impossible. - 🙈We're rarely fed, some is better than none. One is better than zero. We constant consume it's all or nothing. Zero or 100. - 🙈Adherence plays between all or nothing. It's not realistic to go all-in on something completely new. "But if you do this for 10 weeks, you'll have these results!" But what if I do it like this, and stretch it out for 24 weeks? When I first looked into this opportunity I was very skeptical. I couldn’t wrap my brain around how this young mom of 3 could workout at home, get fit, get PAID for helping others get fit and be home with her babies. Two months ago I was in Disneyworld with my family, it was an amazing trip, but an eye opener! By the third day I was depressed in the happiest place on earth! I could no longer ignore what I had done to my body. I laid in bed and typed a list of why I'd never be that big again. I figured on nights like tonight when I need encouragment or a reminder of why I'm trying so hard, I'll post one of those reasons. Disney, in general, is very size inclusive! I could ride most rides, and seating was comfortable and readily available in the parks. At our hotel, though, the seats on the balcony (which were at Animal Kingdom Lodge) were just not ample enough. I had to carry a chair from inside just to sit comfortably and even then I was uncomfortable because I couldn't sit in a normal chair. I HATED that feeling. As an obese woman I'm overly aware of where and how I should sit. Always a table, always on the end of an aisle, and preferably in the back somewhere. I miss the intimacy of a booth, the ability to sit in the middle of a pew without thinking, "what if I have get up? I don't want to knock someone over with my booty!!"! These are small things that probably don't matter to most people, but it's those uncomfortable thoughts that keep me going! I'd rather be uncomfortable for 45 minutes a day working out or choosing no tortillas and chips with my fajitas, than spend another second uncomfortable with how my body is currently! If I look agitated or about to rip something up, this is why 😂 #Repost @jmaxfitness ・・・ PROS AND CONS OF INTERMITTENT FASTING by @jmaxfitness - Lately, I've been attacking Intermittent Fasting on my IG feed, saying that it's not a diet that will help you lose fat. - To tell you the truth, no "diet" will work to lose fat unless you're in a Caloric deficit. But it goes both ways (to a point). Any diet will help you lose WEIGHT if you're in a caloric deficit, including keto, intermittent fasting, paleo, etc. - With that being said, I personally use Intermittent Fasting. It's a tool. I like it while dieting because it allows me to eat larger more satisfying meals, and because when I'm fasting, it's easier to avoid eating unhealthy or high calorie foods because I'm simply "not eating, bro". On top of this, after 2 weeks of fasting, your body seems to suppress hunger, so you don't feel as much hunger as you would on another diet where you're eating more frequently. - But there are definitely some cons. While fasting, your breath will probably stink, and you'll just feel cold and will sometimes shiver like a white-walker (even if you're sitting out in the sun). Don't even try to tell people you're fasting, because "breakfast is the most important meal of the day!" If you're doing a full day fast, you might get hangry near the end of it, which isn't good for the people around you. - If someone you know could benefit from this, then send them here. -
