when i first stumbled across x's music, i didn't necessarily enjoy it. imagine stumbling upon an artist and the first song you hear goes like "can't keep my d*ck in my pants" you would turn that off immediately. but when i listened to "17", i realized the level of artistry that he was on. the stories of pain, agony, and just sadness, you can feel it through the music. he spoke to a certain crowd of people who were not accepted in society and people that didn't "fit in". not only a true and an amazing artist, but as a human being he made it his purpose and his goal to empower people and to give back to his community which should be respected by everyone. i would have loved to meet x and just talk about life, not necessarily the music. but i know that he's having a blast in the other world with people like pac, big, mj, prince, and other respected figures. rest in peace x, peace and blessings to his friends and family.
