Our next bootcamp will start Tuesday, June 26th - Saturday, July 14th. In addition to people being able to register and join us for class inside T2 Fitness Studios, you will also be able to register and join us from the comfort of your home.
Virtual bootcamp attendees will be able to follow along with workouts as we perform them at onsite at T2 Fitness Studios LIVE. Also, virtual bootcamp attendees will have access to all of the workouts for the entire 4 weeks of class via a Private Facebook Group, where all workouts will be housed. So you will be able to perform all workouts whenever your able to join in. All you will need is a pair of dumbbells to work the upper and lower body. #sweatandflex

@getfitwjessica : "It’s hard to believe that that picture on the left was me at one point, the weight didn’t just pop up all at once, I was heavy my whole life and I didn’t want to be that way anymore, I wanted to change, I wanted to be better and feel more confident, I didn’t want to be uncomfortable in my own body anymore. Over 300 pounds at the age of 19 is BEYOND dangerous as for it would be at any age, but having so many years ahead of me and being so over weight is scary. Little did i know that a year and a half later I would be where I am today, over 170 lbs gone with diet and exercise and losing this all on my own. Also, having so many of you supporting me and looking up to me and making me feel like I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO EXPRESS IT BUT ITS MORE THAN AMAZING and confident and pretty and motivated EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! That picture on the left was the old me, same personality but WAY more confident and it’s all because I decided to make a change. I’m telling you now, it never gets easy. Yes I love going to the gym and working out but there are days when I don’t feel like exercising. But knowing how bad I want to be a better version of the old me is everything I need to keep me going. This is junior year in high 126lbs school to junior year in college 160. Wrestling got me to be in pretty solid shape starting my junior year, but I was tired of being scrawny so started crushing the weights hard in the offseason and after xcountry, wrestling, and rugby practice gaining 40 pounds of muscle in 4 years. I was always the scrawny/ skinny kid on the team or group and decided to change that. I’ve digressed these past two years and am back down to 150. Starting my journey back to my prime and to make a new prime. Gonna say this one loud and clear: confidence is what's in the mind not what's on the body
AKA.. lower body weight DOESN'T MEAN higher confidence. I know this sounds weird bc I'm currently leaning down, but let me explain.. first of all, this ain't my first rodeo at losing weight. Ive done it before so miserably wrong (before lifting) Because I was doing it to "fit" a mold. To look a certain way. And, I got tiny as shit, the tiniest I'd ever been. But I was also the least confident I'd ever been..
Rn? Yes, I'm v confident,l in myself, my decisions, my body and my mind. And I know for a fact someone will read that sentence and think "lol, conceited" WELL SO BE IT.. .
Confidence comes with hard freaking work. With discipline. With working and grinding MENTALLY as much as physically. It comes with getting your ass to the gym at 10 pm in the middle of February when it's -2 out and you have 2 papers due and left over Chinese in the fridge that could easily be eaten instead. It comes with accepting failures, looking for the lesson and pushing for greater.
In other words: confidence is what's in the mind not what's on the body. Knowing how much hard work I've put in makes me happier than any physical benefit. Find your confidence🌸❤️
