-MAY 20, 2016 ~ 2 Year Transformation-
I will forever remember this date. On this day 2 years ago, I finally decided to take my life and health back. After a lifetime of never ending up and down weight and a vicious cycle of insecurities and self esteem issues, it was time I worked on myself. On this day I made a commitment to myself to work my ass off. I focused on my WHYs, I made goals, I hit my workouts day in and day out, and changed my eating habits. This journey has been one hell of a roller coaster. As the weight started to come off and I started to be more comfortable in my skin, the emotional and mental aspects of my life came to the forefront. Weight loss isn’t just about the pounds or “the number”; it’s EVERYTHING that led to the reason why you’re overweight in the first place. At times, I hit major lows and had to reflect on so many different things in my life. While this journey has NOT been easy, it has been by far one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done in my life. I have a better sense of SELF, I feel more connected more than ever, I appreciate so much more, I carry myself with a sense of PURPOSE, and I can hold my head high. When I look in the mirror, I see someone who has the confidence to conquer anything put in front of him.
As ALWAYS, I THANK every single person who has HELPED me or ENCOURAGED me along the way. This is my journey but this journey includes all the people who travels along side me. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!
