“Early to bed, early to rise, makes a girl healthy, wealthy and wise” Thought I would try it out! Went to bed at 9:30 pm, rose at 5:30 (ughh) now let’s see how healthy, wealthy and wise I become! I can certainly see the benefits of getting plenty of sleep; I can see how it would improve your health; I can also see if you spend those quiet, early morning hours right, you can become wealthy and/or wise! ⠀⠀
That magical hour before my husband gets up to make the coffee is mine, mine, mine! I read or listen to an audible book for a half hour and then think about what the day has in store. I am not going to lie, sometimes my head gets going and I have to reel it back it! Trust me, I can turn peace into stress in a nano second if given half the chance! .
I think about all the things I complained about the past week and start making plans to change them. We can huff and puff all day long, but why not spend the energy coming up with solutions? .
Take the challenge, rise a little earlier and put that hour to good use. Take a half hour to work on your personal development (work on building yourself UP), then choose one thing you have complained about or struggled with and come up with a solution and put it into action!
