brings a week
of content. 🌞
We are having a relaxing Sunday and so glad to have Sienna home. So thankful this pneumonia was mild with a short hospital stay. The great news to come out of this admission is the most recent chest x ray shows that the partial left lung collapse Sienna has been suffering from since last year has finally opened back up! This means she does not need the bronchoscopy as originally planned to remove the accumulated mucus from her lungs. 🙏🏽🙌🏽
More to come on our essential oil regimen that has made the huge difference in keeping her wellness level up so she can bounce back more quickly from her illnesses. 💪🏽

P.S The chocolate chip pancakes and Preston's smile are heavenly. 🥞😁😇 #fspaloalto#teamsienna#whywescamper@stanfordchildrens
It is Holy Week for us as we are Greek Orthodox. Yesterday was Unction which is a service for healing and the blessing of holy oil. Our priest spoke about pain and healing. We are all suffering from pain and need healing. Some healing can take days, months or years. God protects some of us from our pain when we are not strong enough because, if we realized how broken we truly are we wouldn't be able to go on. He also spoke about people that have a chronic ailment. They are loved more and more through God's healing every day. Their pain may not completely go away within this life, but they have the special power to change the world. He ended with how we need to share this miracle with the world. I have seen the power of God's healing. So here I am, sharing with all of you, our true miracle. 🙏🏽🙌🏽👼🏼 #teamsienna#blessed
I wanted to end our takeover week with hope. Its hope that guides us, and gets us through each day.
This is a video from Sienna's recent photoshoot. It was at a beautiful home with an incredible farm of animals she befriended. You can see and feel her joy. I think she completely embodies the beauty of autism and I want to remember her just like this forever. We have come a long way since Sienna was diagnosed in April 2016. We share our lives so candidly in this community because its nice to know that we are not alone. If we can give hope to one person through our journey its a good day. Just as you inspire me on the days that seem never ending. Thank you for having us this week. It was truly an honor. Its not an easy road, but we all know that we won't give up. With love, #teamsienna
