This past weekend I was taking a nap and had the most amazing dream. In the dream, I had walked in late to my family watching a movie, and decided to watch it again.
The movie ended up being about US. The story of our rise from all our struggles.
But just as the big win was about to show itself, I woke up.
While I could have been disappointed, I was -- and am -- still so happy about the dream. I KNOW bigger opportunities are coming. I know our current struggles will someday be non-existant. I know... because I know and I have hope.
On my monitor, I have this Bible verse:
"Let's not get tired of doing good, because in time we'll have a harvest if we don't give up." Don't give up, my friend. You'll never experience the good that's in store for you if you give up.

y'all. I want to share with you a story about fear that lead to self love.
I never expected to be someone that was interested in supplements or working certain muscle groups on certain days. I never expected to feel at home, or dare I say beautiful in the gym. Yet the more I went the more I saw results and even made some friends. Bodybuilder gym friend's #squadgoals
. Those friends shared small tips and supplement advice with me. That lead to me doing my own trial and error with workouts and meal planning. However I now have a workout schedule, supplements cupboard, eat clean and even know a bit about what and why I'm doing certain movements. Without the help and guidance of @jessgstone
and my friends at @gymratsupplements @gymrat_terwillegar @gymratstalbert
I don't think I would have made the gains and overall happiness I enjoy today.
So Just Keep Going. Ask, read and discover new workouts. Follow fitness IG pages and get out there. Do what you fear. Move forward in a positive way. Life is waiting for you. Don't be afraid of a little blood sweat and tears. It'll hurt. You'll be tired and sore. But it'll be worth it 💚

Last Thursday during our game vs Drury, I tore my ACL. So many people have asked me “are you still planning on playing next year?” “Are you sure it’s worth it” “Don’t you think you’ve been hurt enough from this sport?” And all I can respond with is a simple smile or laugh. This sport has given me so many opportunities. It has brought me to my best friends. It has allowed me to become the person I am today. So the answer if I’m playing next year is yes. Why wouldn’t I? I only get to play for a short time. Softball is my life right now and will be until my time comes to end, and an ACL tear isn’t going to stop me. #keepmovingforward
Pain is not only the best teacher and the thing that’s gonna allow you to understand life at a deeper level. It also allows you to experience true happiness and fulfilment.
Pain creates space that can be filled with happiness at a later point in time. Pain writes a story worth listening to. Pain doesn’t make sense while experiencing it but it does looking back on it.
Physical pain in the gym. Emotional pain after losing someone or something, whatever it is, it is valuable.
Embrace it and observe it as something separate that allows you to grow into a better and happier version of yourself.

2 kids under 3, one who’s been sick for 3 weeks and the other who’s not sleeping because of teeth pushing. ⠀
I’m exhausted, I’m busy, I have a life outside my workouts (contrary to popular belief 😉) I didn’t always know how to meal prep!! ⠀
I guess what I’m saying is, we’ve all got stuff. 🤷🏻♀️ ⠀
But if you’re going to survive the long haul of parenting, work, and just life, you’ve GOT to take care of YOU. Fill YOUR cup. Take care of YOUR body. ❤️ ⠀

Working on seriously getting back into working out. Dropped Walt off and had some time before work to get a good intense workout in. I’m really feeling it today. And as tired and worn out as I am, it feels good to really be back at it. I know that if I stick to this, especially with not having soda or energy drinks or sweets, I can lose some serious weight and get to the point I want to be. Just gotta keep going.

I was literally just telling my coach that I have never been this confident going into a show! That is such a great feeling and a 180 from last years experience. The motivation is off the charts!! -

Stewardship by definition is to mange or supervise something. What’s in your hands to manage or to supervise? What have you been given that requires you to look after it well? A family, a workplace, a non-for profit, a friend, a community of people to raise up and speak potential into their lives? We are ALL called to do well and to build up what has been given. Again, from a post a few days ago, we can so badly be wanting more, but remember with the MORE comes the responsibility of managing the much. This is why it is so important we learn how to love well in the small beginnings, so we prepare ourselves for the day of ”much”. What will you do today with what has been given to you to steward?
