Really didn't wanna workout at all today, had no idea what I wanted to do at the gym, and my boyfriend suggested back and I never say no to that. Even though I wasn't feeling it, I had a great workout! Sometimes you just gotta get out of your own head and crush it. The video is not sped up and of course I decide to film usually during my last set so I'm struggling 😂 one day I'll learn!

2️⃣who else is so short they gotta climb all over the machines at the gym! 🤷🏼♀️🙋🏼lat pull downs with a machine I have never used before! Didn't mind it, but I wish I moved my hands a little more in. I didn't feel like I got a good full range of motion with my hand position, but I'm learning! 4x10
3️⃣close grip underhand pull down 4x10-12
4️⃣this video cut out in the beginning because my phone is haunted I swear and decided to film like 30 seconds into this. But I did one handed lat pull downs into a full lat pull down (which would equal one set) 4x8, straight into 4x8-12 lat pull downs. Again I suck at explaining!

Mind on some burgers & cookies today. Just checking out the veins that appeared during the bro lift today (chest, shoulders, arms). Went a little something like this:
•Seated lateral raises 4x10
•Seated DB bicep curls X DB tricep extensions 4x10
•Seated cable flies 4x10
• DB chest press X DB shoulder press 3x8
•Straight bar curls X close grip pushups 4x10
•Seated DB flies X standing lateral raises 4x10
•Cable tricep pushdown X cable curl 2x25
*Work out should have been finished here but had more energy so did a few heavy sets 🤷🏻♀️*
•DB chest press, DB shoulder press, DB hammer curls, DB tricep extension all 2x10 heavy to finish

To think when I started out my journey, lifting 50kg for 3 was a struggle! Super happy with my progression 😌

First workout done ✅ in our new home here in North Carolina after nearly a week off training & oooooh did it feel good to move and sweat!! 🙌🏼
We drove from TX to WI to MD to NC within one week and y’all...that’s a LOT of driving and sitting on your butt. 😂
We were so busy spending time with family & then unpacking + getting settled when we got here that training was put on the back burner and that’s a-okay.
I no longer stress about taking time off and it feels so good to be at peace with my training (or lack thereof this week).
Anywayyyy, life is getting back to normal now so it’s go time, and in more aspects than just fitness. 🤓😉
