Before coaching, I thought FOR SURE ✋🏼 I wanted to be a yoga instructor. I was IN LOVE with the IDEA 😍🤸🏼♀️🌈. I loved the practice🙏🏼, I loved that I would be my own boss💁🏼, and I loved that I could have my own teaching style (aka be 100% ME)✨. .
But then reality hit me that I wouldn't necessarily make any more money teaching yoga FULL time then I would at my bartending/serving job in just 20ish hours a week. 😒 And THEN I also realized that when my boyfriend graduated and we moved (that was always part of the plan), I would have to walk away from whatever type of yoga business I had built. 😢 On top of that, I lost my entire savings that I would have used to start my business after my ovary ruptured as a results of donating my eggs 🤕. It was such a sad realization at first but eventually I knew that it was because there was something BETTER out there for me 🙌🏼🐛🦋. .
I realized that as much as I loved the idea, I also really wanted financial freedom 💸 that seemed too far off in the future 😞. I wanted the option to travel without my business suffering. ✈️ I wanted to share my love for not just yoga but health and wellness in all aspects. I wanted to reach more than just the people in my local community. 🌍 .
It was HARD to let go of that dream, but now I know that I'm on the right path. 😍✨😭 Now because of coaching, I’m getting paid to become my best self, be 💯% ME, and help others do the same. And you bet your butt I still do yoga everyday cause now my time belongs to me and I have the freedom to do the things I love. 🙏🏼☺️💜 #hellaproud

Had such a good day today! Tiring, but like a good tired if that makes sense. I got a lot of work done, got to spend some time outside in the beautiful warm weather, anddd I finished off the day by hitting some PR’s (videos will be posted tomorrow 🙆🏼♀️). Three 12’s down, one to go and absolutely loving the job :) Happy I got to squeeze in a lift tonight, too. I’m awful at conventional, but you should work on your weaknesses right? First time doing rack pulls and they are ugly. Lowered weight to work on form. Still ugly. LOL. 🙃. Also some bench. Too excited about life to be too upset about this because I know I’ll keep working at it and eventually do better 💪🏻 .

We passed a waterfall, watched a swing dancing class, saw lots of roller bladers and TONS OF DOGS (audible squeallll!). It’s just what the both of us needed to clear our minds and gear up for our busy month of June (hooray for June birthdays!)

The quality of the results that you get from a CrossFit program, or any program for that matter, is directly related to the QUALITY of the EFFORT that you put in.
You have to show up regularly.
You have to put in the work.
You have to have a positive attitude.
You have to be willing to be coached.
Group style classes are great, don't get me wrong. The community to push you, having a coach to guide you & the workout program to get you in the shape you want to be in.
As a coach, I care so much about every single person that walks into one of my classes. I want to get you to your goals and I'm here answer any questions you may have..
But I can't make you push yourself and I can't make those healthy choices for you.
My biggest piece of advice is to BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE.
If you want to get muscle-ups or perform a body weight snatch- take it upon yourself to ask for help, put in that extra skill work outside of class time & research progressions.
I became a coach because I want to help you reach your goals & love seeing people thrive. BUT, if you want to get there faster... be your own advocate.
