Back to my small but lovely king(queen?)dom where I can selfie freely, wear whatever I want, and listen to odd music v loudly. Ty & I are very happy to be home.🖤
It never gets easier, you only get stronger 🏋🏻♀️
Once you see your results, it becomes an addiction 🏋🏻♀️
At NetWorth Realty, we believe that knowledge plays a huge role in everything that we do in life. It can help you make more money, better decisions and even help you be more successful.
There may only be 30 minutes left, but its never too late in the day for a #funfactsfriday
1. When I was little, I wanted to live on a farm and own a horse 🐎 more than ANYTHING! Toby Tyler and Black Stallion were among my FAVORITE movies, (definitely over-watched them.... my sister may have actually hid them from me on several different occasions!). But the ranch life was THE dream!😎
2. I tend to realize what the fuss is all about regarding a trend YEARS after it's popular! The movies, pop artists, apps... whatever it may be. I never wanted to be a "bandwagoner," so by the time I finally give in, I have to fan girl all by myself because everyone else is already #overit
!😂 Learning now that bandwagons are bandwagons for a reason!
3. I think I will love cooking... someday... but that day is not today! 😂 I'd rather cook myself something fast, and when family and friends are together, there is always a more experienced chef. In that case, everyone is better off if I just take the "back burner!" 😉😎 (cue drum set!) Haha, get it?!? 😂
4. Lastly - and most regrettably to inform you -
I have inherited my father's love of terrible puns. 🤓 #sorrynotsorry
Hope ya'll have a great rest of your night! 💖

Spring is here! And Bird Banding season is getting underway!
Cedar Waxwings are definately a favorite if mine!
These beautiful birds are named for the waxy red tips on the end of their secondary feathers. The number of wax tips increase as the bird gets older.
They can also be sexed by the amount of black 'under their chin'. Handsome guy! 😍
You will find a lovely profile photo of one earlier in my feed (Mar 11) and on my website.
It is available for print!

I’m starting to see habits everywhere and how they shape my everyday life.
I’ve been reading The Power of Habit. I’m about halfway through and really enjoying it. I’m not usually a nonfiction gal, but this one is told through anecdotes., so it’s kept me interested.
** I’m seeing how habits have formed within our little family unit and where they need to be adjusted. Giving more freedom to my children to make decisions and help balance our house is no. 1 on my list of changes I’d like to see. I’m not quite sure how that will look, but the idea is slowly taking shape. I’m also trying to find my habit cues for some bad habits and figure out where I can change my routine to find the same reward. It’s somewhat difficult and introspective work to look at yourself this way and be brutally honest on where you are.
** Habits define us and frame every day. I definitely recommend checking out the book and learning more about yourself.

Since it’s Friday, I’m going to join in on #fridayintroductions
. So here I am in front of the camera: 🔹I’m Joy and my favorite color is blue. I like all kinds of blue but cerulean blue is my favorite. 🔹I love sweets, especially chocolate chip ice cream and sugar cookies. But honestly, I can go for almost any kind of dessert 24/7. 🔹I’m a pretty practical person. I like to make good use of my time and am a work first, play later type person. This last picture was taken in an airport when we were early for our flight, so how’s that for making good use of time, haha 😃
Fun Fact Friday is HERE. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
So let’s get to know each other and be friends. •
1. I’m usually a neat freak, but my room is currently a mess.
2. I want to visit all of the national parks in the US before I’m 30.
3. I’d rather spend money on experiences over stuff.
4. I’ve never had a pet, unless plants count hehe
5. I love the taste of quality coffee, but I don’t want to become addicted to caffeine.
Now, can you relate to any of these random facts? Or just me? Comment below, let’s be friends!! 👇🏻
I. Am. Tired. And. Sore. This mom is about to smear herself with some Green Lipped Mussel from New Zealand. Here’s a bit about why. #funfactfriday
The coastal dwelling Maori tribe of New Zealand have consumed a diet of Green Lipped Mussels for centuries. The Maori utilized the native mussel as a high nutrient food source, never knowing the true benefit of this perfectly packaged nutritive powerhouse. It wasn’t until later that New Zealand settlers found that the Maori’s never suffered from arthritis or inflammation issues.
In 1973 NASA scientists began a worldwide exploration in search of any and all-natural ingredients to battle disease. The NASA researchers found fascinating properties in the New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel. Over a 40-year study, scientists researched the New Zealand Green Lipped Mussels and found that the nutrients in these mussels had impressive anti-inflammatory properties.
Why am I sharing this story with you? Because green lipped mussels sourced from New Zealand are the primary ingredient in Plexus Ease and this product is changing the lives of thousands of people! How do our bodies become inflamed? Diet, medications, lifestyle, and stress! STRESS. #momlife
🤱🏼 oh and our jobs. Can I get an amen? #dentalhygiene #painfordays
So excuse me while I lather myself up and go watch #thegreatestshowman

| The Rogue House, built in 1803 by a freed slave named Yves, is an outstanding example of early French Creole architecture. Yves built the structure along the the Cane River, 22 miles south of the Natchitoches river. The house was built using traditional cypress timbers and bousillage infill, made up of Spanish of spanish moss and mud. Most of the facade is overcome by a massive Norman shingled roof. French colonial details are portrayed throughout the house, in the rustic gallery porch and black shutters framing every doorway and window. Delicate wooden colonnades support the roof, providing shade and cooling the interior of the house. The building has since restored by the Natchitoches Historic Foundation and serves a variety of tourism functions.

What’s a #FUNFACT
FUN FACT FRIDAY 🎉
I have some new friends on here plus I figured it would be fun to see if we have anything in common!
1) I have a turtle collection. That's my souvenir of choice when we travel 🐢
2) I can walk on my hands. One of the things from my past gymnast life 🤸🏻♀️
3) I will always change the radio station when commercials come on 🤗
4) Olives are the worst.
5) I am the youngest child and have a heart for the little guys out there who are picked on ❤️
What’s a fun fact about you?? The more random the better 😄
Hudson is a dog with a lot of energy! The walk can be a real struggle for him and his owners.
Dogs, cars, joggers, and cyclists are all very big triggers for Hudson. Even though Hudson has a very good heel command it’s very hard for him to make the right choices when he see those extra exciting distractions.
When we are out with our dogs we should be one of the most exciting things around. By making ourselves more exciting than the distractions we might come across we can help Hudson develop a new habit when he sees other dogs.
Look at the other end of the leash. Look at whomever is walking him. By making his new default behavior when he sees a distraction to look to his owners for guidance and having that kind of engagement, that kind of eye contact being rewarding. We can start to build a kind of horse-blinder focus into our walks.
Not only does it become harder to get excited and aroused by distractions he can’t see if he is busy looking at the person walking him, but we’re also teaching him a better alternative rather than fixating rather than being allowed to stare and get riled up and more and more excited.
By patterning this new behavior we can start to take the novelty out of those distractions we come across, where seeing a dog is no longer something exciting but rather becomes a cue for “oh, I should look at mom and dad now“
Teaching an incompatible behavior is a great strategy for dealing with problem behaviors with our dogs Where we not only work on addressing the unwanted behavior, but are also teaching a better and more desirable alternative.
💥FUN FACT FRIDAY:
This weeks fun facts are all about stretching🤸🏼♀️
Stretching should be a crucial part of your warm up routine before you exercise. Stretching lengthens your muscles and increases range of motion which reduces your chance of straining or tearing a muscle.
Whenever you’re stretching you should hold each stretch for approximately 30 seconds.
It’s also very important that you stretch after you exercise to remove lactic acid from your muscles. This helps to aid the recovery process after an intense workout💪🏼🏐🌟💥
