The Steeples Mountains are part of the Hughes Range of BC Rockies near CranbrookCity.com. The Steeples uplifted because the rocks were being pressed by tectonic forces from the Pacific Plate moving east. When the forces moving eastward stopped pushing, the bedrock land west of the Rockies collapsed and slumped downward. This dropped the Rocky Mountain Trench a full 3-km lower than the summits. Erosion and deposition have reduced that differential. @kootrocks

Did you know that on average newborns have more bones then adults? As your baby grows many of these bones will get harder and some will even fuse together. The skull starts as three pieces of bone joined by cartilage, so that it can fit through the birth canal. This is why your baby's head has soft spots. But these pieces eventually join to make one solid bone. .

to do the MAO 10-day photochallenge 📸👑 To kick it off, here’s a little about me 😊: My name is Tiffany Ticlo, I’m a sophomore at Hamilton High School. I have two older sisters who also went to Hamilton, and some of their old teachers like to call me “Little Ticlo”! Almost always, I can be found humming or singing softly and if you ask me to sign something, you may notice my initials look like the pi sign 😉 This is my second year in #MAO
and I am so so thankful for all of the amAZing opportunities I have had and outstanding people I have met through this organization 💗 #missphoenixot
I started a new thing last week so you could get to know me a little more. #funfactfriday
You might not know this but we(my hubby, 2 boys and myself) live full time out of this 5th wheel camper we bought in 2016. My husband moves around so much for work that this was the best choice for us to all stay together and not have to worry about renting everywhere we go!
We've lived in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio and Texas so far. We've had some fun adventures and can't wait to see where else this takes us.
🍍I am o b s e s s e d. Have you ever eaten a perfectly ripe pineapple? 😍Interesting fact: scientists discovered a particular pineapple nutrient (bromelain) to have powerful anti-cancer properties. This is a HUGE discovery! 🧐 So, of course they decided to extract the bromelain from the pineapple and mass produce it as a supplement. But guess what? When they extracted the bromelain from the rest of the pineapple nutrients, the bromelain LOST its superpower. Crazy! 😜
Whole food nutrients work together in a 🎼 perfect symphony, and extracting a single nutrient and still expecting it to work the same is like extracting the 🎻cello line out of a symphony and expecting it to be music on its own. It just isn’t the same.
🍍 How do you pick out a perfect pineapple?
1) Check to see if you can pull a leaf from the top; if you can’t, it’s still pretty green.
2) Look for a warm, golden color throughout most of the flesh.
3) Smell it. If it has a strong aroma of that delicious pineapple scent, it’s probably ready!
But be warned....once you cut it up, you might not be able to stop eating it. It’s just that addicting. 🤣😂🤣
What is your favorite fruit to eat? Drop me a comment! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

We don’t know about you, but we constantly get the question “What’s a PA?” Once someone actually asked if we’d be a personal assistant for a doctor. 😂
So let’s start with some facts:
•A physician assistant is a nationally certified medical professional that can practice and prescribe in all 50 states, District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. •PA-Cs can work in every specialty and clinical setting.
•PAs can perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, perform surgical procedures, manage hospital inpatients, and more.
•Not only do PAs help with the shortage of primary care physicians, but also show to be a more cost effective solution.
•A PAs role is to practice medicine on a healthcare team (autonomy varies depending on specialty) with all healthcare providers. You know what they say, team work makes the dream work.
So next time someone asks what a PA is or wants to know if you’ll be an assistant for a doctor, here’s some educational facts.

| A dogtrot house, also called "two pens and a passage” is composed of two enclosed spaces separated by a breezeway, usually about eight feet wide. The design allows for more ventilation throughout the house during hot Louisiana summers. It is likely that some houses standing today were at one time dogtrot houses, but were renovated to have their passage enclosed in recent years. The dogtrot style is one of the architectural house styles in Louisiana that has been nearly erased in recent years. “During the nineteenth century, many dogtrot houses dotted Louisiana’s northern and western parishes; today, only a dozen or so remain”
There remains some speculation about the origins of the dogtrot style. Some architecture historians argue that it is a variation of the east German farmhouse, a structure that has one cluster of rooms for living that is separate from a pen used as a barn for horses. Other historians propose that the house is “a vernacular version of the high- style Georgian passage-style house."
Some of the few remaining dog trot houses in Louisiana includes the Absalom Audrey House in Lincoln Parish, LA.
