Finished my Bis and Tris session today with hanging leg raises. Considering yesterday was core day for me and I have serious DOMS as a result, I decided to add even more suffering and complete these at the end of my workout until failure. Ps, I have no idea why I am pulling these faces throughout this! 😂

You can see them daily over on my stories..👀👀 My Crew would never let me do that🤣...You see they hold me down✌️ Seeing them push to reach their goals each day..pushes me👯♀️👯♀️ Just one more reason I C•E•L•E•B•R•A•T•E this health hustler life! 🍒And the cherry on top?🍒 This is what our C•R•E•W (you know the badass ladies I get to call friends who I would have NEVER KNOWN had I not taken the chance on this amazing opportunity💕💫) are saying about the past 5 weeks in my current group... ✨ I’m down 6 pounds and 11 inches. I just FEEL better. Lean. Confident. Strong ✨ Stepped on the scale and a 7 pound loss! I’ve increased my weights and just feel strong. ✨ I got back in those old jeans from quite a while ago. ✨ I’ve lost 10.2 pounds and feel great! ✨ No weight loss, but my pants feel better. My C section scar/skin has gone down A TON. Probably 50%. ✨ Whoop whoop down 2 pounds and an insane 10.25” ✨ Ive lost 9 pounds and 16 inches total. If this is 4 weeks, I cannot imagine 80 days.
And others are celebrating booty gains, moving their belts to the tightest notch and a feeling of overall better ... H E A L T H !! It simply doesn’t get any better than that, Ya’ll!

Today’s workout was HARD.
Yeah it was hard physically (psst, if a workout’s not hard you aren’t doing it right 😉) but it was also hard mentally.
Idk why it was hard to be honest. I love total body day and I love most of the moves.
I just wasn’t feelin’ it though 🤷🏻♀️ But I took breaks when I needed and pushed through.

How do you measure progress? 🤔
Right now I don't have a physical measure of how much weight I can lift, how many reps I can do or what the scales are telling me. It's how I feel after my physio or walking to work or 🏃♀️climbing the stairs.
I stopped driving to work this week and started back to my usual routine of bus and 15 min walk (20 atm cos I'm slow af 🙄). And you know what, today I managed to get further before my knee started hurting, so there's my measure of progress.
Sometimes it's good to take the focus of numbers 🤷♀️ and just work on feel. Do you feel stronger 💪, do you feel healthier, are you happier?
🤷🏼♀️ meh, is how I’m feeling right now, meh🤷🏼♀️.

A lot of people go to the gym and go through the motions. Do you find yourself doing exercises you have seen other people do because they look like they know what they’re doing. Or you have a goal of putting on muscle but don’t know what type or amount of training to do to achieve it? Maybe you’re watching videos and trying to copy the people doing it in a random order? Are you achieving the results you want?
