PUSH DAY WAS A SUCCESS💪🏽🔥
Okay first can we all just appreciate real quick hOW TAN I GOT WOW SO PROUD. On a real note though, I got a killer workout in even if it was a bit shorter bc I’ve been MIA for a week.
ARMS (repeat 3x):
1. Push ups 15x
2. Dumbbell press 12x
3. Overhead press 12x
HIIT (repeat 3x):
1. Toe taps 60x
2. Side to side box jumps 40x
3. Knees to chest plank jumps 20x
Even though it was definitely tough, it felt amazingggg to get back in the swing of things. Only positive vibes my loves xx

for having the bar I needed! I warmed up on the Elliptical and then alternated Leg Extensions on the Workbench with Front Squats. I decided that my starting point would be 2x25 lb plates- as the bar itself weighs 40 lbs 👌🌟 Back in the day, that used to be my warm-up and we'd add weight from there but for now, I went around about 6-7 times and then added an extra 20 (2x10 lb plates on each side) but I only did that once. I will be working my way up and just wanted to see what would be "heavy" and what would be "HEAVY😰" The reason I do front and not back squats is cuz the last thing I need is a bigger butt 😝😝 and I know from experience that this works beautifully for my body type 😊🙌👑 When I was in my late 30's- early 40's, this exercise was everything- it gives you strength, tones and sculpts. I am older now and will be careful to watch my knees and back but DAMN! it felt really great 🙏😃🌟 AND I'm looking forward to barely being able to make it up the stairs tomorrow night and will probably need to find a urinal as well 😂😂 Happy #workoutwednesday

everyone say hi to Lori! this girl has been boxing up a storm lately and is fighting to get some serious gains this winter! Lori came too JBPTRC looking to improve her fitness and gain some upper body strength and she has certainly done that! although her overall weight hasn't changed, her lean body mass (muscle) has increased and body fat levels have dropped with the help of regular boxing, strength training and HIIT classes. Loris endurance and pelvic floor have really improved over the past few months and everyone knows that she packs a killer punch!!! well done on a solid week of training Lori!👏👏👏👏 your dedication has not gone unnoticed!💪

Today was leg day, I used to have 3 strict leg days of focused thighs, glutes, and hammies. I’ve been changing my routine around and been more leniant depending on what muscles I feel are more activating that day. Still have 3 leg days though 🤓
Here’s today’s workout! 💪🏻 Nothing too crazy, I also warmed up with pullups focused on negatives.

Often people think in order to dance you need to learn how to 🤓
I meet people from time to time who feel embarrassed or ashamed to dance freely because they believe you need to look, organized, structured, coordinated, choreographed and refined. 👀
It’s interesting to me because in one way, yes, I see dance like a musical instrument for ones body and naturally in the same way you one would master and play guitar, piano etc, there is a technical mastery to be learned, integrated and uniquely expressed. It’s challenging and fun with a great opportunity to discover, learn and develop new path ways of artistry and expression which is why I have recently embarked on a professional dance journey.💪🏼
However in another way, I see dance as a form of wild raw playful spontaneity that seduces ones soul and does not need or require the mind’s knowledge and mastery. 🙌🏼 Kind of like making love, ya know? 😉
Sometimes its fun and even necessary to splash your body like paint all over the place and feel the beats pulsing through your body however tacky, crazy, nonsensical and bad it may seem to some. 😝
So yesterday as many you witnessed on my insta stories, I heard a new song my body enjoyed. When I arrived home I let loose as I usually do daily with music and allowed myself to be freely seduced.💃🏻 .
Sooo much fun to the point I felt inspired to share it with y’all especially for those of you who may be feeling confined or limited from dancing cause you may feel like it’s something you need to learn and be “good” at in order to feel and express the musical beats that invite to move through your body and soul 🎶
I also feel it’s important while I continue on my professional dance journey, to honor the beautiful chaos of my dance that led me here and that will continue to live in me no matter how much I technically learn❣️🙌🏼
