Constantly stopping yourself from enjoying a certain food that you perhaps deem as 'bad' will slowly, slowly increase your chance of getting CRAVINGS for that food! .
Trying to beat the cravings by eliminating the foods you love will only work in the short term. You are going to cave in at some stage, and most likely end up having the whole cake (instead of just a slice). .
Cravings are normal - we ALL get them! And YES, sometimes it is possible to just sit them out, drink a glass of water and allow the notion to pass. Other times, it's best that you just eat the food you're craving and move on. .
So instead of restricting yourself from eating foods you enjoy - why not include them every now and again so that you don't feel deprived!?
That way, you'll keep cravings at bay. ✅
And hey, if you do have an overwhelming craving that won't go away?
🔺 Have the slice of cake, the piece of chocolate!
🔺 Enjoy it.
🔺 Move on and don't call yourself a failure for goodness sake!

🔥24 Hour Fasts🔥
🙋🏻♂️You have all heard me talk at LENGTH about the incredible benefits that’s skipping breakfast and fasting can have on your life and overall health.
🦄Of late I have been experimenting with including a 24 hour fast into my week and the benefits have been astounding!
☘️Not only do I feel more clear in my thoughts, more energetic and recover better from my workouts, it has also been a great “reset” button on my body each week.
🙈Yes, a 24 hour fast can be a way to drastically reduce the calories you eat in a day, however, this is NOT... I repeat, NOT the reason you should be doing them.
☂️You should be looking to these practices as a way to enhance your body and improve your mental and physical wellbeing, not as a way to PUNISH you for a mishap you may have had the day before.
🧘🏻♂️Our bodies are an incredible machine and if you can consistently fuel them with good quality fuel and combine that with skipping breakfast and a weekly full day fast, you will take your body and your health to another level.
❌This is not for everyone and you should only look to do this if you have been fasting for over a year. Also, always consult your doctor should you have any adverse reactions to introducing any new regime into your life.
⚗️With that all said, I am confident that many of you who are already fasting could give a full day fast a go and massively benefit from its life changing abilities.

Осталось совсем немного до конца месяца. Я уже не ставила нереальных целей, как прежде. Сейчас я не ем на 300-400 ккал, а как минимум 800-1300, несколько дней было, конечно, на кефире и на голоде, где-то ещё пара бутылок пива. А так я не сорвалась и не было даже мысли такой. Моральное состояние, когда хочется только крепкого кофе и всех вредных привычек, какие только могут быть😭
Только вот сейчас оторвала бы голову, тем людям, которые говорили, что от одного кусочка ничего не будет и вечером тоже можно есть...Посмотришь на себя и начинаешь думать, а где твои мозги были?

I like how my squats went. 345 for 3x3 after working up to just a heavy single was pretty cool. 345 for triples is a pr in itself. I haven't even touched anything of this intensity in about 8 weeks.
Heels kinda came up, but Ill eventually get squat shoes. The ones I ordered didn't fit. That wide ape feet life 😂
I almost feel forward on a couple reps so that needs to be addressed.
I like that I still committed to the triples though. You can just feel the contemplation in my pauses between my reps.
Usually I just hear a bunch of Shit in my head before i attempt something heavy, its just excitement though. So I told myself "I'm excited," before I went in for my squats.
On a side note, I'm trying to eat more nutritious foods and am attempting to stay away from processed foods. Just a lifestyle change. Rice, bread, mangoes, pineapple, greek yogurt, chicken breast, bananas, and orange chicken(lol imma let this one slide) for food today. Need more vegetables though. Hopefully eating more nutritious foods helps with recovery... And more sleep. Average is at about 5.5 hours as opposed to my 4 hour average from 2 weeks ago. Bless. .

Instead of worrying about the number why not use clothing as a weight loss target.

Or the pair of jeans you own that you cant quite get to button up.

Here is a double at 85% (385lb). I haven’t squatted at this intensity in a month or so, so I was interested to see how it moved. It felt pretty smooth and it was nice to get under some real weight 😏. However my form was a little shakey with some butt winkage. I’ll keep that in mind for next time and slowly inch toward perfecting the movement.

🦄The fitness industry runs on a pendulum of extremes. Everything is either good or bad. Right or wrong. Healthy or unhealthy. Fattening or fat burning. Issue is, things aren't that black and white. And creating these false dichotomies is what digs us further into fitness "ruts" that are harder and harder to climb out of.
☕️Cardio is the prime example. For a long time, cardio was *it.* THE thing. Everyone ran or biked or swam or roller skated or flew their brooksticks. Weight lifting was "dangerous," not "functional," and only for meat heads and Slytherins.
🦄Recently, though, all this changed. Nowadays weight lifting is the end-all-be-all of fitness, whereas cardio is hated on and made fun of. Hell, I see coaches every day bragging about how they don't do any cardio whatsoever - only heavy lifting - and stay shredded year round.
☕️And that's great. It really is. But there's more to fitness than staying shredded. And just because you don't need to do something to get shredded, doesn't mean it won't help. Nor does it mean there aren't a cauldron full of other benefits. Truth is, both cardio and weights have a ton of benefits, each of which complement the other.
🦄Between you and me, I don't want to be a one trick pony. Sure, deadlifting 4x my body weight is great. But I also like running a 6min mile. And not getting winded every time I go up a flight of stairs. And, as weird as it sounds, I like finishing a workout out of breath and sweaty and feeling like I just beat the snot out of a mountain troll.
☕️For me, strategically doing both weights and cardio is the best way to get the best of both worlds. So you can be strong as all hell, and the fittest one in the room. You don't have to choose - you can do both.
