Tomorrow is my Day 1
Took some time off from the gym and have been stress eating and not staying on point. I am a stress eater for sure. Food has always been my weakness especially treats. Cookies, cake, ice cream you name it. .
Lately my stress level and anxiety has been at all time high with purchasing our home and getting things in order for renovations. On top of that doing a lot of manual labor at house has put a strain on my back so I haven't been at the gym daily like I was. .
The gym is my outlet. My stress reliever. My ME TIME to focus on me and my needs for that short period of time vs other people's needs. I have been slacking on taking care of myself and realized today I need to get back on track for my own mental well being. .
Went shopping today and saw myself in full length mirror and didn't like who I saw and realized how much I still have to work on internally in liking who I see in the mirror. .
That's ok because tomorrow is Day 1 back in the gym and getting back on track. Already plugged food into MFP to plan head to hit my macros and get myself where I want to be emotionally and physically. .
Never throw in the towel. Take a step back and ask yourself what changes can I make today that will benefit me tomorrow and make those necessary changes. Hold yourself accountable and crush the goals you set for yourself. .
Tomorrow is cardio and upper body day in the gym 🙌. Alarm set to get up early and get back at it.
I couldn’t have asked for a better day! .

W5- look at the face of disappointment 😕 weight stayed the same this week, my heart sank.. why am I finding this journey twice as hard this time round. Then I looked at my measurements this week and was happily surprised. Even though I didn’t drop the kgs, I didn’t go to bad on the cm’s. So...... “trial by fire”...got to take the good with the bad. Most of you know I’m learning Logic Pro X while also recording my parts for the upcoming @take6official
recording. Well I ran into the brick wall of trying to figure out how some of the tracks I was working on became corrupted. Oh this was at almost 2am this morning and being done with a lead vocal... what that meant was since no one could really figure it out, I had to sing the tracks over. While that may not seem like that big a deal it sure IS when you believe you crafted a killer vocal! Well things didn’t go well today! I figured up I only had 1430 calories yesterday and another 1405 during the meet today. This resulted in 4 lbs of body weight lost from yesterday to today and 54lbs left on the platform!! Frustrating nonetheless I did hit a 20 lbs PR on squat and only hit my openers on bench and deadlifts. Unofficial weight total of 1331 lbs. Besides feeling sick I feel like I peaked last week! I’m thinking of blowing my program up and training a totally different way! Not sure what to do now! 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

A little 🔖 weekend reminder, it feels like it's so easy to give myself a 40 hour when it comes to eating well... and I'm willing to bet I'm not alone... ⁉
Consistently reminding myself that I don't get to take the evenings and weekends off, because when I do the progress slows 😕
I mean, I can't be the only one who avoids certain foods all week to have them all on Saturday. Or after the kids are in bed... the 🍫 comes out and the 📺 turns on.
So thankful for my accountability group, the support and encouragement is what has gotten me to this point❗
