💜place a blanket, pillow or block under your front leg to keep it supported (hip to knee
💕this will help so you don’t put any unnecessary pressure on the joint.
Once your hips are square, kick the back foot onto the floor with the toes facing down.. then let go....

I struggle at times myself. But as long as I stay the journey I am much more successful about seeing myself the true beauty daily.
It's when I get derailed when I jump off track and I start reverting back to my old ways. Like with eating or with cocktails, especially 🍹.... it makes me into somebody different seriously changes me. I'm sure it changes most people and it's easy to get sidetracked with something anything that takes us away from us.
Each day I Rise up in my goal is to try and be the best person possible. Stronger more focused more clear-minded than I was the day before!
my journey has taught me so much that it's hard to even really explain. I've worked out and Jim's off and on throughout the years and I even teach classes but my regular workouts regularly working out with weights by myself doesn't do for me what my coaching journey is done for me. When I workout through my challenges on a daily basis that's when I seriously feel the best version possible of myself!!! 🎁 It totally feels like a magical gift hard to explain but some of you may know what I'm talking about.
Each challenge builds my self-confidence my love for myself my strength my beauty it grows ME!!! and deny myself of the challenges of the daily workouts no matter how much I apply myself full pole or maybe less that day it's still brings out the true beauty of myself.

Eeekkkk...so it’s day four and I have not cheated on my nutrition! I think after seven years of being a fitness instructor I have the working out down BUT eating not a chance. My goal for this program is to focus the next eight weeks and follow the PLAN! Today I did a spin class by a different instructor than I normally go to & my quads are especially killing me😅 is it weird to have a love/hate relationship with your muscles hurting because you know that means you’re making a change?

Self love has been something I have been searching for, for a long time. I have finally allowed myself to start falling madly in love with myself which is something I never thought I would say because it hasn't been easy. Its been a long road BUT I am still so young so I am extremely happy that I have figured it out this soon! Some people don't figure out how to love themselves until later on in their life!
But when I first started I thought I was going to have to go through this alone. I had no idea the community I was going to meet through all of this. Girls who I really consider my best friends now! And that has been because of all the positive support I have gotten from all of them which has led me to so much self love. And all I want to do is help other women find the same thing I have.
Without these women It would have been extremely hard to get through this journey alone.

Latest exercise adventure, Couch to 5K! Are my times crazy slow... YES! But am I exercising vs. eating the Nutter Butters in my pantry, YES! Small victories every day, DO add up! I HATE to run, like HATE IT. If you see me running, you should probably run too because something is chasing me. My food challenge today was to resist the tortilla chips with dinner and to eat healthy Mexican food! I DID IT! Mexican food in Texas is the real deal so again, resisting these chips, was huge. Revel in the moment and enjoy every success, that’s my new mission. I also tried my new food for the day, mushrooms and bell peppers. Bell pepper, we can maybe be friends. Mushrooms, not so much. Any creative recipes to hide the mushrooms but still eat them!?

Today I decided to show you some moves I used to struggle with BAD....
1. Burpees, used to hate...now LOVE🤷🏻♀️ 2. Plank Jack-Arm Tap, still not my fave 😂
3. Plank Sprints, easier each time 😃
**1 minute on each and repeat 3x to 5x** I used to have a problem with all workouts in Plank position....HATED them and skipped them most times 😖
As I am getting stronger and building strength in my arms these workouts are getting easier and I can do them correct, with good form...❤️
Just a little reminder that we all have our struggles but if you keep pushing you will overcome them 🤗 save this for later see how you will get better at them over time 💛

I did something on out date night. Something I was super self conscious about and nervous about. I wore a crop top. Didnt show my stomach, but it was a vulnerable outing for me. But I did it. And if I can do that.. I can do anything.
