Last chance to read about Caleb Jennings and his friends’ alpine roar in our Roar Issue. The Winter issue goes on sale after Queens Birthday 🎉 #redroar #redstag
I had such a fun day yesterday! My buddy Oslo pooped in the water 😂 and I had like 5 pee accidents in the house afterwards (cuz I drank way too much and my hooman left for an hour). I'd say the day was a success!
Riding country roads and blasting John Denver on repeat. 🙆♀️
The humans’ new Yeti cooler arrived today, and with it came the promise of summer adventures ahead! 🙌 (disclaimer: Yeti cooler purchase does not include cute Westie dog.😍) #BuiltForTheWild
has become our best friend as we come into the final stretch of turkey season. We’re pushing into new spots and have knocked on many doors this week. Hoping for a turn around in this dead NY season.
Power of the pull.....
This is what a happy Wednesday looks like! Thanks to my buddy @willbearinthewoods
for the land! I was doing everything I could to keep this dude out of the trees.. We ended up goin 2-5 on the whip sticks!
I’m ready for these summer nights. Now that the summer weather is here, Easton is starting to ask about setting up a target range and flinging arrows — I think we’ll get his bow tuned this weekend. 🤙🏼
I’ve been back in Colorado for some time now but felt I needed to share one more bass photo before the trout overload begins! I had such an incredible time in Texas meeting so many new fishy people, acquiring a sweet tea addiction, and all the incredible fishing that was had. Thank you @dm_flyfishing
for showing me a truly special fishery. I can’t wait for more warm water fun but now it’s time for some wild trout!
It was so hot and dry that I felt like we were in the freakin’ desert. We saw no wildlife, and caught no fish. But remember, all fishermen are liars. 😏
Due to work and life, it’s not feasible for me to be out hunting every single day (hell, every single weekend even!), as much as I’d like to. But the time I do get to spend out there is very much treasured time, and the time in between is spent out here; back to the beginning of everything. Just a girl enjoying time shooting her bow, making every effort to be the best I can be.
An old buck well past his prime. This deer was a cull stag because he was missing his inner tines. But that gives the impression that his life was wasted. He was taken out of the population because of his looks - as a hunter you don’t want the genes of malformed deer being passed on. Still, the sacrifice was honoured. The meat was shared between us and he will go on my wall just like a perfect trophy would. A true hunter doesn’t put animals on the wall for bragging rights or an for ego boost but to remember the hunt and share the story with others. That doesn’t require the biggest, or best stag. It requires one with a story, and this old boy’s antlers tell a few.
I think it’s impossible to get a bad picture of these guys
I hate when tourists ruin my photos...
