Knowles-Carter, is taking home another award this time and not for her music, but her heart and philanthropy.
In LA at the 2nd annual #WearableArtGala
ceremony this past Saturday she was honored for her many humanitarian efforts like "Hand and Hand Hurricane relief" contributions funded by her non-for-profit foundation "BeyGood". The #WACO
(Where Art Can Occur) Theatre was host to the whole fam bam with Solange, Bianca Lawson, Kelly Rowland & La La Anthony on the honorary panel. Also in attendance was Jay Z, His mom Gloria Carter, whom also received an award for "Everyday People" and Blue Ivy who wore matching outfits with the former "Destinys Child" member in a royalty inspired ensemble, and it was everything shocka! Everything was Flocka!... The queen of the "BeyHive" was humbled and gracious, finding it endearing to be appreciated for her work in her given speech.
The theatre was built to provide a place for youth to be mentored, have creative expression and make art. Richard Lawson and Tina Lawson are founders. "Our purpose is to inspire young people to follow their dreams no matter who they are or where they come from." Tina is partially quoted as saying. Great Job Bey!...and excuse us while we ante up on these On The Run 2 tour tickets!
Folks also can’t get over 6-year-old #BlueIvy
and her pops #Jayz
playfully fighting over the bid paddle ultimately ending with Blue copping a $19,000 acrylic painting of Sidney Poitier. #Swipeleft
