Well here they are! My official 80 Day Obsession results! 23 lbs down and huge muscle gains! To say this has been an amazing journey would not even begin to explain it. I have learned to believe in my body again and push past my limits. I have gained confidence which clearly shows in my pictures!
My advice is don’t be afraid to give your goals everything you have! It’s easy and comfortable to make excuses, don’t stay in the comfortable you were made for so much more. This applies to all areas of your life!

80 days of work outs. I did that. I completely 80 days of work outs. I am still in shock that I actually did it. I have always been the person that starts things with so much motivation & slowly looses focus as the time goes on. So to have completely 80 days of work outs without falling off the wagon or giving up is amazing to me. I lost 15 pounds & 18 inches but what I gained is even more than that. I gained self confidence, motivation, drive & determination. Those are 4 things that I’ve never had consistently. I realized that the only way I was going to reach my goals & get to where I wanted to be, is if I believed in myself & never gave up. When you give up, the only person you’re failing is yourself. What could you do in 80 days if you made yourself your number one priority? If you put yourself first & worked on you? I am so proud of myself for what I’ve done over the past 80 days & can’t wait to see what I can do in another 80 & another & another. I’m not going to let this fire inside of me burn out. I owe it to myself to show up everyday & never give up.

I think I’m finally finding my rhythm when it comes to working out and actually enjoying it. I used to wake up and dread moving my body, I had low energy most of the time. When you have a new baby, that’s almost impossible to maintain.
They say it takes 21 days to completely break a habit and 23 days in I can definitely say my lazy, unhealthy days are over.
Before starting this fitness program, I tried so many times to stay consistent and stay fit and eat right but there wasn’t anything out there that would walk me through EVERYTHING and actually want me to succeed.
To me, 80 day obsession isn’t just a bunch of workout videos, it’s a full comprehensive program that taught me and helped me grow from the ground up. I feel so confident now in what I’m doing when it comes to fitness and I intend to share my progress all the way until my 6 pack💪🏼 lmao maybe I’ve never seen them I don’t know if they even exist 😜
Before having a baby, I wasn’t fit. I drank a lot 🍻, smoked a lot 🌿(more than now😜) and didn’t move my ass aside from playing hockey one day a week for only 5/12 months of the year. I had no experience with weight loss and fitness before this program, and in only a month I was able to lose 10 pounds. Eeekkkkkk decided to retire 80 Day Obsession after 23 weeks and 150+ days! Pretty crazy to look back and see where I started 😬 after relocating to Texas, taking the summer off work and then finding a new house and job I let my nutrition go completely.
But in January I decided to take back control of my life by committing to 80 Day Obsession, was it hard heck yea!!! But I just showed up everyday and did my best! Was I perfect ??? Hell no! No one is!

Day 1 👉🏼 Day 80:
Down 20 lbs, 18.5 inches, and 4 pant sizes.
A lot can change in 80 workouts.
When I started this program I was about 40 lbs overweight and in a totally desperate place internally.
I was struggling with anxiety, poor sleep, and after 2 surgeries and years of yo-yo dieting, I had totally bought into the lie that I had no real power over my own health & fitness.
I signed up for #80dayobsession
as a last ditch effort, hoping to simply drop some weight, but honestly I was afraid to even hope for that.
Just three months later I can hardly believe all that this program has given me.
Not only have I changed my body, I’ve changed my mind.
I’ve come home to myself.
I’ve silenced that inner narrative that ran an endless loop of negativity, shame, and fear of failure.
I’ve taken ownership of my own health and I’ve intentionally chosen to enjoy the process because the process is my actual life.
If you’ve been watching and quietly wondering if you can do this too, I want to tell you that if you believe you can, YOU CAN.

🙈Ok here are my numbers and photos. ‼️This is what skinny fat is.‼️😬🤫🙄☹️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏽♀️I have a ways to go but I’ve accomplished quite a bit so far. These photos might surprise some people. I have slim limbs and small wrists and ankles but my midsection has always been pudgy. Sometimes, much more than other times. As for those darn back fats I’m going to have to do extra exercises to work on getting rid of that excess fat. I haven’t always had that much fat on my back. I have made progress for sure. BUT, it will take another several months of working out and proper nutrition to get to my goal shape. This is an ongoing journey. A “life style change” as we always hear. I wish we could all be less judgmental towards each other and ourselves. These past 80 days I’ve come to understand a few things about myself and getting in shape. I have been on a health/fitness journey over the last six months that I have turned into a lifestyle change. I didn't like what I saw in the mirror. I had no energy, was tired all the time. I was the girl always eating the junk food and never ate vegetables EVER!! I would workout but not consistently taking breaks months at a time. I would be on then off. I decided I would start a new 80 day program and I was going to stick to it. I did just that in fact I am on my second round of 80 day obsession with a couple weeks left to go. Day 68/80 ✅ Fun fact I learned about myself last year when I trained from my first half marathon: I am terrified of success. So much so that this period right now is the HARDEST for me. It would seem that being just shy of 10 days out I would have more resolve than ever to finish but the way my brain works is I made it this far it’s okay to stop now. It happen with 2 weeks left in my running program and here it is again. •
I used to think I was scared to fail, but really I’m not. I am terrified of realizing what I am capable of because then the comfort zone I camped in won’t be enough anymore. So, I am digging deep in my arsenal for all the mental training I have done to push through this barrier. •
And, if nothing else I am going to superficially focus on how damn proud I am of the transformation my body has made. 6 pregnancies. 3 kids here on Earth. 3 c sections and I have never physically looked better ❤️

Muscles: use them, or lose them!
For the longest time I had a hard time believing that I could actually lose muscle! 🤷🏼♀️ I was under the impression that once I built it, it couldn’t go away!
But just like anything else in life, you have to work every day to maintain any progress you’re making! There is no finish line!
This morning I worked the 🍑
An area many of us struggle with because our glute muscles get shut off by sitting around all day!
I had to work hard for a long period of time to build strength and muscle definition in this area - and I’m going to have to continue working hard every day to keep it - simple as that!
I’m telling ya, sitting on the couch for hours on end is not the best way to build a nice round booty 😉 speaking from experience 😆
Keep working on those problem areas, and you will make progress - even if it’s happening slowly!
And once you see progress, you’ll never even want to stop! 😉 🍑

this weekend i have been on cloud 9! but i got here by probably annoying the shit out of the majority but inspiring the ones who belong here. i don't like knowing people don't like me, i get poked fun at more than most people would know and by a lot that most probably won't admit. am i nervous as hell sending a personal message telling people i like them because nowadays compliments are like creepy or something ? BUT all that shit matters because LIVES ARE BEING CHANGED. MY LIFE IS BEING CHANGED. i've watched moms gain confidence in their bodies, shy girls getting out of their comfort zones, girls finishing an 80 day long commitment that they didn't think they could ever possibly commit to. THAT IS THE SHIT THAT MATTERS! Do i sometimes need to put on a playlist, and just get comfortable with the fact that i probably annoy a lot of people ? YUP 🤷🏼♀️ but my people's transformations mean more. the income that gives me the freedom to travel everywhere only having a part-time "real job" mean more AND if i can give that to more and more people ..... i'm cool with being ANNOYING AF 🙃💁🏼♀️🤸🏼♀️😁

. May 15th I started to take my health back. I started the program “a little obsessed” which is an intro program to @80dayobsession
I did two rounds of that and then started the journey on #80dayobsession
. Tomorrow is my last day of Phase 1. Day 26. It’ll be a short cardio workout. I haven’t been 100% on target with eating - but that’s life. I’m trying not to watch the scale - it’s not my friend. After all, May 15 - June 22, I’ve lost 5 lbs but down 10”! What the?! So Monday starts Phase 2 and will be day 27! I am so looking forward to this next phase and continuing my improvements. I’m no body builder or cross fit expert but I’d say this is working for me. To think I’m ⅓ of the way through already is crazy too. I dreaded the whole “omg EIGHTY DAYS?!” But I’m more positive, sleeping better and would ya just check out these progress pics?! Look at my FACE y’all. My face always gains weight first and it makes me happy to see the changes!! Okayyyyy, done. Byeeeee!
I’m so so tired but very happy with what I accomplished for myself tonight. I conquered some fears. Crushed some goals that seemed pretty remote just a year ago...especially at the age of 47. Like I continue to say... age is just a number. You’re never to old to make a change. We all have our own personal demons, our own struggles and battles. You just have to be intentional in your thoughts and goals. The first thing you need to do is change your mindset ... your mind is very powerful and your thoughts, good or bad, will drive your path.
So... here’s to a new page, in a new chapter in my life.

This has been a rough week! I think it’s the transition and shifting routines from teacher life to home life. I took another unplanned rest day yesterday 😳 I had a whole bunch of “reasons” for not working out (headache, fatigue, flo, etc.), but today those all seem like tired excuses. I’m so happy I was stronger than my excuses tonight. I CANT BELIEVE I ACTUALLY DID IT. Wow. 80 days & 19.5 lbs, 19 in. gone! Going into this program, I was just looking for something to make me lose weight. I didn’t even want to join the group of girls (that’s the anti-social part of my personality coming out), or do the shakeology. I was nervous, and didn’t think I’d like the shakes anyways. But I haven’t had one bad experience with this program. It actually has taught me a lot about myself. It taught me that I CAN do hard things. I CAN get up early and workout, I CAN lift heavy, and I CAN have confidence in myself. Think I’m going to stop now? Nah. I’ve come too far, and it’s my lifestyle now. Here goes nothing... I'm stepping WAAAY outside of my comfort zone posting a picture in my swimsuit, but I'm realizing that nothing grows inside of the comfort zone ❤️🙏
Putting these side by side, I'm not sure if all of you will see a huge difference between the two, but I totally can! I lost 5 pounds and 1.5 inches, but I have gained so much lean muscle during this program 🙌
The main things that I learned throughout this process... ✓Trust it! I didn't lose a single pound until the last few weeks👌
✓You WILL have days where you don't want to workout. That's okay! Do it anyways 💪
✓Some days will be better than others. When those dang bands roll, you will become extremely frustrated and want to throw them away 😅
✓The body will only follow where the mind goes. Believe in yourself! You are capable of doing things that you never thought possible 🙏
✓Don't be afraid to push yourself 🏋🏻♀️ I was able to gain the muscle that I did because I consistently went up in my weights during the 3 phases.
✓You will mess up the nutrition. It's called a lifestyle for a reason. I treated myself more times than I can remember, but I would wake up the next morning and start fresh☀️
✓Energizer and Shakeology will become your best friends. My two non negotiables each day that helped power me through every workout 💕
