Not going to lie, these past two weeks have been TOUGH.
I’ve had so much going on in all aspects of life that I’ve unfortunately let my nutrition and workouts go downhill. Hey, I’m human still! 🤷🏻♀️ I had to put myself and my family first and show myself some grace.
But the most important thing is that I KNOW I crave change and WANT to be healthier! .
So I’m jumping back on track and restarting phase 3 of my program tomorrow! I’ll be finishing 2 weeks later than planned but life happens! and it’ll ensure that I get the results that I’ve been working so hard for 💪🏻
Even on a busy work day, like a 12 hour shift for me as a nurse, there’s still time to be healthy and make yourself a priority! Getting my snack in real quick to finish off the day!

It was hard to get this one done.
I had 2 classes, this morning, then did my grocery shopping for the week, and by the time I got home I had NO MOTIVATION to workout.
But you remember that thing I said about motivation, right?
It's a myth!
If you really want it, you get up and do it, cause ain't nobody gonna do shit for you!
And so I did.
Chug some Energize (a bunch, actually), and pressed play.
My abs, legs and butt are unbelievably strong. I'm so proud of all this hard work!

The picture on the left was taken back in December. I was so excited for my #fabletics
leggings to be here, and especially since they were a size smaller than my originals which were starting to be a little big. And then *bam* bubble popped. They smooshed my belly into a muffin top, and creased all over my thighs. So they became my "goal pants".
Fast forward to today - after 62 days of #80dayobsession
, they no longer smash my belly. I'm not afraid of popping seams during booty day, and they didn't crease on my thighs. .
And the best part? This is SUSTAINABLE. It didn't take a week long quick fix. I didn't deprive myself of everything I love. I ate real food. I pushed hard in my workouts. I got stronger mentally and physically. That won't go away when the 80 days are done. I've built healthy habits that will stick for the rest of my life. .
It IS possible and doable for everyone!
Really wasn’t feeling it today.
I was tired. I was annoyed with Diesel.
Success doesn’t know about cold or tired.
It just knows if you showed up or not.
💕Today was a jam-packed day of spending time with family and friends, and as I was dosing off in the car on the way home, I was thinking of reasons to put off working out. I promised my workout buddy though, and as inspiring our children is my main ‘why’, we pushed ‘play’ at 7.30pm and by 8.30pm, day 56 was complete ✅ Yes, it 🔥🔥🔥🔥, it was 🍑day but oh how I ❤️❤️❤️❤️’d it and with the endorphins kicking in, don’t feel tired anymore 💪

Day 62 BOOTY
As my 80 day journey has 18 days remaining I'm anxious for my final results but won't be disappointed if I feel it's not quite where I want to be. My non scale victories have been ENORMOUS - feeling healthier while following the timed nutrition (🤔 well 90%), I'm way stronger and can't believe the confidence in myself since day 1.
Here I am approaching my 58th birthday and doing the same workouts as everyone else 💪🏼. I was very nervous starting this program as it looked so hard 🙀. . .
But got it in my head that I COULD & would do the very best I could and voila 🙌🏽 I've almost finished the 80 days.
It doesn't matter if you're 18 or in your 70-80's, get active - you'll sleep better, you won't ache as much because you're working those muscles and your overall health & wellness will increase significantly 👍🏼. It's very hard taking that first step but wow soon you'll be telling yourself "why didn't I start sooner?"
Need a little convincing, gentle push or just some darn tough love...that's what I'm here for. My passion to help others feel wonderful is filling my bucket list one person at a time❤️. The more the merrier-bring your spouse, kids, friends, family and get healthy together 🙌🏼. Know someone who needs a hand? For sure send them my way, I'd love nothing more than help 🤗

First day officially back in the saddle after a loooooong but super fun road trip!

Day 49 done.
I've been struggling a lot mentally lately. I don't know if it is due to a busy schedule at work (three 24 hour shifts in 6 days, ugh) or the fact that my weight hasn't budged in about 10 days.
After two months of feeling excited about the positive changes I was seeing, I feel like I am back in a negative mindset. I beat myself up for eating anything that isn't a vegetable. I say to myself 'gah, you're so fat/bad/lazy.' I find excuses to NOT do my workout. Then I berate myself even harder when I don't do the workout I talked myself out of. I have heard people talk about how much of a mental game losing weight was, and I always thought they just meant finding the willpower to avoid bad foods. I now see that it is more than that.
I want to quit. I want to say, 'Well, I lost 19 pounds. I can be done now.' I want to stop weighing food and to eat my kids' food scraps and to just sit on the couch for a Harry Potter marathon.
There is still that little part of me that is burning srrong, though. That little part that makes me pull out my weights and loops and sliders and mat. That little part that makes me scan and weigh food before I eat it. Booty! I noticed the booty pump this week & showed my friend at work; she said the leopard print leggings didn’t help! LOL, The man just laughed when I showed him & said it’s all meat/muscle now 🙈🙈 #strongereveryday
, gals, and boy, did I EVER get my sweat on! This phase's booty workout is just relentless! I love the challenge, but it definitely makes me dig deep to get through and to push myself at the same time!
I could have said "It's Saturday.. why workout?" but that wouldn't get me any closer to my goals... that would make me sit around feeling like I SHOULD have done my workout... and that would have let MYSELF down. So no matter if I wanted to or I didn't want to, I got my workout clothes on, I laced up my shoes, put on my own Spotify playlist, and got to WERK!
Now that it's over, I'm SO glad I did!! I have the rest of the day to do whatever I want. This was just one hour of the 24 I've been given today and I'm proud that I made it productive! Actually, I'm SUPER proud that I did!

I've completed Phase 2 of the challenge. Cannot believe it, I'm more than half way through the program. It was tough. Tough physically, emotionally and time-consuming but when you complete it, you feel the satisfaction and adrenaline!

After a not so great week of eating the best choices, Chris showed me the picture on the left to show me how much all my hard work and dedication has paid off. That was a week before Christmas. I was a different person physically and mentally. These last 3 months have been hard but being able to see before and after photos like this make it all worth it.
