I couldn't believe I had let myself get to this point (Dec 17). I finally decided to get myself together, what I wanted most for my 30th was to be healthy. Tipping the scale at 307, that was not going to happen. March 23th I made the change and I'm currently 50 lbs down. I still have a long way to go but I feel so much better. I’m already down 2 lbs on Day 4!!!!!! This time around I’m more disciplined with my eating and focused on feeding my body every 3 hours no matter what. For sure enjoying the simplicity of this one💪🏾
So if you saw my last post....about how this week would be amazing. Well my week just got even freakin better!!! I just weighed myself out of curiosity because I was feeling bloated and omg!!!! I hit the 5️⃣0️⃣ pound mark today. I’m so happy I cried! This journey hasn’t been easy but it was easier with the fact that I had someone to coach me and I had a group of ladies who wanted the same thing. Thank you so much to @fitxsavvy

It's the last day of my conference and I fly home tomorrow. These pants are 14s! If you notice my purse and the phone case, you can probably guess my favorite color.
Eating has been a little stressful as I have had very limited options. Next time I attend a conference, I'm going to select vegetarian just so I don't have to deal with things like fried chicken.
I have been weighing in every day and dealing with fluctuations as you would expect. I have a goal to shed 10 more lbs in 2 months so I have to be vigilant.

So I stepped way out of my comfort zone today! I decided that it was time to embrace my body and love me for me. I've come a hell of a long way in the last year or so. It's my first time to the beach and I'm going to rock the hell out of this 2 piece. I may be quiet here on instagram, but I can’t stop looking at this picture and I just had to post it. I’ve been doing my best for 9 months now, and despite losing 56 pounds it has been hard to see the difference in myself personally. It finally clicked when I saw these pictures next to each other. I look trapped in the first picture (and to an extent, I was!), but the one on the right makes me look like a woman living her best life and being her best self! Thank you for the momentary self indulgence, I just had to stop for a moment and recognize that DAMN, I did that!!!
WOW. Just, W O W 😵 Remember when I said my kids like to use my phone and take pictures? Well the left is an example of that. 🤦🏻♀️ All the wrong camera angles but it wouldn’t have mattered. I looked and felt terrible. And I look so uncomfortable! I’m so glad I finally decided to start this weight loss/become healthy process in March. ✨TRUST THE PROCESS 💯 ✨ Truth be told I was super hesitant about whether this health journey was actually going to work in the long run. I had already done so many diets in the past that never worked past the first month. This is different! This is NOT A DIET. This is the result of consistently working out at least 30mins day from home, following meal plans that DON’T cut out any food groups (yes I still eat 🌮 and 🍕) and linking arms with a group of babes 👭 who have motivated and supported me since day one. THIS is how I developed healthier habits that have gotten me to lose 50lbs and keep them off for over a year. No shortcuts 🙅🏻♀️ I’m looking for 20 babes to link arms with for the month of July. Softball Hangover (noun): the delayed after effects of being at your kid’s softball tournament from sun up to sun down in the heat in excess of 90 degrees for more than 2 days in a row. Softball Hangover is real folks. I’m struggling this morning and praying my Shakeology gives me the boost I need to get this Monday morning started! As for my workouts, meals and water intake this weekend...NOT GOOD. Although I got a lot of steps in from all the walking from field to field, that was pretty much it. I will say that at least I did not take part in the food offered at the concession stands, but I barely ate much of anything at all. I tried to drink as much water as one can when they’re sweating it out in 100 degree heat just as fast as when you’re putting it in. My daughter played awesome this weekend and her 18u softball team placed first out of 78 teams, so I’m super proud of them for that. I’ll just have to plan better before the next tournament in a few weeks.
