We are very blessed to have Nicole Turner-Butler, an experienced and passionate yoga teacher on the Central Coast for many years, join The Collective team.
Nicole will be teaching our Thursday night Shanti (gentle yoga) class at 6pm each week starting this Thursday so come welcome this special lady!
Nicole is passionate about joyful Hatha Yoga, her family (which includes Merlin the family dog!) and Bali. Nicole's gentle, nurturing and nourishing yoga prepares the way for students to receive a unique, powerful and healing yoga. Her yoga journey began so long ago she can’t remember the exact date, but does recall learning asanas from an unknown book while travelling through Asia in 1985! Nicole began studying with Clive Salzer in 1996 who mentored and encouraged Nicole to pursue yoga teaching. The journey deepened significantly when she began her Yogic Studies in the Satyananda tradition in 2002 and later with the Byron Yoga Centre (Purna Yoga) in January 2010 when Nicole decided it was time to pursue yoga teaching after 28 years in the community sector. She continued her yoga training (Markandeya Yoga) in 2012 with her Balinese teacher Guru Made Sumantra and she is now a member of the Indonesian Yoga Teachers Association. This yoga was a ‘smile in your heart’ experience and it is with a joyful heart that Nicole shares the teachings. Nicole’s practice and teachings are built on the philosophy that nurturing self is essential and ensures great strength of body and mind, creating a resilient YOU. She facilitates a yoga experience suitable for ‘every-body’ offering gentle and stronger options as she injects her own special brand of love and care into everything she teaches.
Let's welcome Nicole together ❤️
WHAT CAUSES CAVITIES?
Cavities are formed by acid producing bacteria that live in your mouth!
Brushing and flossing your teeth, along with having regular professional cleans with our dentists decreases the level of these damaging bacteria in your mouth!
Lack of tooth brushing allows the bacteria to grow producing too much acid which then causes cavities. Sugary foods feed these bacteria making them produce more acid!
So keep brushing and flossing twice a day, and keep a healthy, low sugar diet. These good habits will hopefully lead to a cavity free visit to Terrigal Dental!
