Top single 500x1 followed by 2x2x455 for my heavy deadlift session.
500 is a gym PR and 455 is actually a PR double and did it for two sets.
Got pulled out of position a bit on the single but learning to strain through that is important. Submax work is great for patterning proper technique but perpetual submaxers often can't grind weights to save their lives so it's my opinion that some straining on gym singles is good as long as it's not every week and you aren't completely blowing your load with stimulants and hype methods.
Always think one step ahead.
