Sometimes paleo IS all about the meat 🍖 😄🍗! Baked a quick pan of meatballs before the gym and let them simmer in some homemade sauce until I got back.
•1 pound organic ground beef (i know it should be grass fed but I really just don't like the taste. I use it when I know I can mask the flavor like in tacos)
•1 tbsp fresh minced parsley • 1 tbsp fresh basil chopped
• 1 clove minced garlic
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• 2 tsp salt
• pepper to taste
• 1 egg
Just flashback to preschool and pretend it's some play dough and mix it all together with your hands. 👋. Roll them into balls and line them up on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 for 20 mins 👍👍👍 For the sauce I sautéed olive oil, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 chopped yellow onion and then added 1 can of @muirglen
organic diced tomatoes, 1 can of @muirglen
organic tomato sauce. After the tomatoes are added throw in some chopped basil and parsley. Put the lid on and let it simmer so all the flavors can meld together 😋. When the meatballs are done throw them in and let it simmer until you're ready to eat! Congrats! We all survived Monday! One day closer to the weekend!

Eating meat is unhealthy and it's acting against our core human values, in fact numbing them. Let me tell you a quick story...
When I first went vegan, I happened to be visiting my parents and my mom had cooked a meal with eggs prior to my arrival. I took one bite and realized that what I was eating wasn't vegan and explained to her that eggs aren't vegan. My mother was angry and hurt that I wouldn't finish her meal. I tried telling her about the baby chicks being ground up alive in the industry but it just didn't click in her brain. Less than an hour later, we watched our pet cat prowling through our back yard bushes and my mom chased after her and managed to catch her right before she grabbed a baby rabbit from a litter that had been born earlier that week. I asked her why she wanted to save the rabbit since it's a cat's natural instinct to hunt. She sad the cat managed to already kill one other baby the day before and she didn't want her unnecessarily killing a completely innocent and defenseless animal!
Reversing a lifetime of cognitive dissonance is challenging. But eventually, many of us take the blinders off, watch Earthlings, Cowspiracy or Forks Over Knives (or one of the many newer documentaries on veganism out there) and start to challenge our world views.

You know this may be controversial or whatever, I don't really care tbh, but some of ya'll need to calm down about this election. People that have different political views that may be formed by their religion or lifestyle different from yours is no reason to attack them. Stop calling people racist and stop bullying people and calling them bigots. You have to love people even if you hate them. How can we fight using the logic and tactics of the thing that we are against? This doesn't have to do with veganism by the way. Killing animals for pleasure is a definite wrong. This has to do with people being democratic, republican, etc. I personally don't care if someone is either or. You have to let people express themselves. Diversity and acceptance is the key to progression. Not every republican is a white supremacist and not every democrat is a hateful person of color. Enough with the stereotypes and vulgarity when it comes to others who think differently. It's incredibly immature and I'm damn near tired of people insulting each other and acting childish. We wonder why this country is divided. Stop getting offended when someone disagrees with you, it's called having an opinion and people have a right to express it. As long as no harm is done to others, then that person has a right to free speech. You can't fight for a platform while silencing others, it does not work like that.

Congratulations to this Legend. He used to train Crossfit up to twice a day and on the weekends. He was disappointed his body didn't represent the training. He started our nutritional cleansing program to inspire his loved ones to eat clean and healthy.
With the change in nutrition it's pretty crazy what mint rig he's cranked up for his body challenge and now inspiring SO many people.
