Today could have EASILY been one of those "skip my workout" days. I was soooo incredibly sore from the last two days of workouts. My legs...jello. Walking...difficult. Getting up and down from sitting positions...challenging. BUT, I knew the only way to work out that soreness, was to WORKOUT that soreness (see what I did there 😏)! So today I feel far more amazing RIGHT NOW, than I did when I woke up. I made the RIGHT decision, that today was actually the harder decision.
I've been on my journey for 4.5 years, so things ARE "easier" for me to get done consistently, than say the beginner to her health and fitness journey. But only because I MADE myself FORM new habits and BREAK old bad habits in the beginning. It wasn't easy. It didn't come without some minor failures. But I refused to give up and I simply FAILED FORWARD.
The fact is, there's no such thing as willpower. There IS a such thing as determination and doing what you know NEEDS to be done, regardless of how easy or NOT easy it is. 🤘🏼
