Teaching splits on the Reformer is challenging bc inevitably our ego wants to "do the split" while completely compromising form and safety. 💡💡💡Tips: 1. Each leg should match the other. If the front leg is bent the back leg should be bend the exact same amount. 2. Squeeze your inner legs toward on another to keep your pelvis from rotating 3. Contain your guts. Imagine someone is going to take a photograph of you in profile. Don't let your middle hang out all over the floor ;) 4. If you're not able to breathe and move than you've gone way to far/deep.
