Who here hates when you put make up on and it's ruined by the open pores? 🙋🏼
So what are the open pores? Why do they appear? How do I get rid of them? Here is all you should know! 😳
🔺The pores are the small openings where the hair comes out of the skin and through where we eliminate the sebum. Produced by our sebaceous glands.
🔺They look like small pits, giving the skin a dimpled appearance, similar to an orange peel
🔺There are several reasons for having open pores. First of them is genetics! Some people have a tendency to have a higher sebum production and oilier skin, therefore more apparent pores. That can also be linked to hormonal alterations! 🔺Another reason is residues left on the skin such as creams or make up that can clog and dilate the pores
🔺Last reason is aging and sun damage that aggravate the laxity and loss of support on the skin, making the pores more visible
🆘And how do I treat them?? 😏Unfortunately, there are no quick fixes for open pores, therefore patience and continuous care are the key. Tips on daily routine:
• Remove well all residues from your face daily
• Wear oil free cosmetics
• Do regular facials for deeper cleansing
• Wear products that stimulate cell renovation and reduce the oil production such as salicilic acid, retinoic acid, glycolic acid etc
• Don't wash your face more than twice daily to avoid rebound effect 🔜🔜🔜 Apart from the daily routine there are many procedures that can be done to improve your skin such as PEELINGS and LASERS. I like salicilic and retinoic peelings and lasers I recommend genesis and FRAXEL. ✔️The best treatment for each case should be recommended by a dermatologist, who can give a better diagnosis of your skin type and the best treatment to address it!
