A bird flew into my window while I was driving, today. It got me thinking about all the advances in technology and how they affect other beings. I haven't quite figured out how to reconcile the conundrum. I am in awe of so many things I can do because of human inventions such as driving, time travel (i.e. flying to different time zones), and reaching out to people on the other side of the world through a computer screen, for example. But then there's the collateral damage we cause by enjoying these things that is so omnipresent... There may not be a way to always avoid animals crossing the road but there are other areas in which humans can make the choice to not cause harm with technology. Particularly, when it comes to testing on animals, we have a direct say in whether it happens. At least with cosmetics, the practice of testing them on animals is one of THE most unnecessary practices that still occurs. But what about medicine? That's a great question. I hope humans can figure it out soon.
Here's to all the future inventors, scientists, and doctors who will find the answer so the animals can live test-free.
As for the bird, rest in peace, little guy ✌💔😟 But, seriously, I was like 😯😔😷 #vegan #veganliving #veganinspo #veganlifestyle #veganliving #vegansofig #vegangirl #plantbased #plantstrong #plantpower #plantlife #stilllife #plants #greenthumb #gardener #gardening #whatplantisthis #namethatplant #hawaii #oahu #honolulu #pensive #thinking #crueltyfree
