I've got a pretty good life. Nothing really to complain of here. I have two beautiful healthy kids, a supportive husband, a roof over my head, a stable job, no serious medical issues, money to pay the bills - but it's pretty mediocre. And I'm pretty tired of just mediocrity. There is MORE to this life and I'm not just going to spend my short time on this earth living it that way.
I used to feel like I had to limit my life to goals and dreams that were "realistic" but if I continue to do that I'll never get anywhere. I will continue to live here, in my mediocre, normal little life, bubble. I think I've outgrown that bubble and I'm not going to apologize for the steps it takes for me to bust out of it. If that means I have to change my perspective, change my routine, work harder, be consistent, increase my faith, expand my circle, then so be it. I know that He meant me for MORE.
I'm not sorry for wanting more out of this life and I'm not sorry for going for it either. I'm worth it. And so are you!
