Happy Fry-yay! Come in today and have the fried, savory, goodness of our samosas. We hand make all our samosas and fill them with potatoes and vegetables for a perfect vegetarian snack or meal along with our mango lassi.
The hubby and I were gonna go out for dinner, but with the amount of rain we are getting, we decided to dine in with leftovers! It was a team effort tonight. Even our dachshunds were in the kitchen hoping for food to fall. Ending day eighteen of whole30 with: Kahlua pork hand roll (seaweed wrap) served with arugula and crispy russet potatoes. We took leftover Kahlua pork and sautéed it up with some cremini mushrooms in clarified butter. The hand roll is filled with chopped romaine lettuce and an Asian salsa (I cannot rave enough about this salsa. It's made just like pico de gallo with the addition of avocado, minced ginger, sesame oil, coconut aminos and evoo. It was great on last night's ahi tuna and it is delish on Kahlua pork). This is what I had to eat for today! It's a Friday and it feels like an absolute Monday 😵 ready for bed already... Hmm muahaha (after writing the description below, I realized that I eat a lot of blueberries and strawberries 😅 I need to raise my fruit game a bit. Oh, make another Whole Foods trip tomorrow? Well, if you insist 😉😁)🔹Description 🔹 Pre-workout meal: oats with strawberries & blueberries. ⚜️ Post-workout: a protein smoothie with blueberries, two scoops of protein, banana, strawberry yogurt, spinach, green superfood scoop, and some almond milk. ⚜️ Meal: healthy chili my roommate made that made you want to slap your mama, it was so good! So I had some of that with rice and a piece of corn bread (for that booty you know? Or maybe for my soul? Either way, corn bread is my weakness plus I'm trying to gain weight so I'm not too worried). ⚜️ Snack: most boring thing ever 😭 RAW broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots... ⚜️ Meal: chicken salad with spinach and tomato. YOLO? ⚜️ Final meal: Greek yogurt and granola bits with *wait for it* strawberries and blueberries 😈🍓
