This time last week, well, I was still fast asleep in bed. Why you ask? Because it was the beautiful beginning of my week off. That thought alone has depressed me immensely this morning. _ However, a week of relaxation almost feels like it's been a reset button for me. And even though I REALLY didn't want to get out of bed this morning, I'm ready to approach this week with the optimism that I was so obviously missing pre-holiday. _ My nails are painted. My hair is tamed. My outfit was planned in advance and my make up hasn't been rushed. Coffee poured, healthy breakfast AND lunch packed... I think I'm ready to take on the day. _ Now I just need to get through a morning of polite "how was your break?" niceties and I'll be able to call it a successful Monday. 😉 (On a side note, does anyone ever feel like giving the unwanted, long answer when people ask you how you are, or how your weekend was, just to see them squirm? If you've worked in an office, then you know that this happens...) _ Wishing you all a #happymonday 🖤 I hope the day is kind to you! 😘
