Day 27 #wordmefantasyfeb2017
: ombre books
Unfortunately, I don't have enough books here in New York to do an ombre book cover post, so here's a cute picture of Soul and some hardbacks.
Have you read the Illuminae series by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff?💙
This is one of my older photos from back in November and I love it mainly because of the amount of blue in it and because it was back when I hadn't lit the Will candle at all so the wax looked beautiful and even.🌚
My first book to be reviewed for Penguin UK @penguinukbooks
is Exit West by Mohsin Hamid. Release date: 7th March 2017 so I better hurry!
Starting this tonight!
In other news if you like reading blogs about diversity please read @sumaiyya.books
blog post (link in Her bio) about reading in Saudi Arabia and diversity.
Question: We're almost at the end of February and we all know how 2016 was for most of us. Is 2017 any better? 🙂
Oh and @gatsbysaysmeow
27th February 2017
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
pochodzi z 24. druku. Czyli jednak nie muszę chować jej w sejfie 😉
☞ENG: I read all Potter #books
in Polish and in English 📚 I managed to get the whole series in English in hardcover ❤ When I received “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” (e-bay) my heart stopped for a second ‘cause I thought I accidently bought one of those rare copies (silly me). It’s true, it says “Joan Rowling” on the copyright page – in later editions it’s “J.K. Rowling”. However, even though it’s 1st edition, mine book is of 24th printing. So I actually don’t have to put it in the safe 😆
I finally got to meet @lisawilliamsonauthor
yesterday 💙 Back when my blog had only 200 followers, two and a half years ago, Lisa was one of my first interviews, so it was great to finally meet in person when I worked with her yesterday! Expect to see more of Lisa on the blog soon!
Two editions of the same book by #dorothysayers
make it clear how much packaging matters. A stranger in a restaurant overhears Lord Peter Wimsey in conversation, and shares the story of a mysterious death. Et voila! His Lordship's next case. With a Marimekko tray and an #iittala
Love the creepy and fascinating images in Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children🖤
I have redone my #februarywrapup
because I have:
1. Finished reading a few more books before the months end. (Illuminae, Gemina, and I Wrote This for You and Only You) and 2. Included books that I have reread (Red Queen, Glass Sword, and Artemis Fowl). I completed a total of 17 books this month (whoa) all of which I enjoyed.
The only book not pictured is 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' because I loaned it to a friend, and therefore do not have it on hand. • #book #bookish #bibliophile #serialbibliophile #bookstagram
