Detox and Chill Charcoal Purifying Mask, provided by @leadersusa
Intended for: Purifying and minimizing pores, controlling sebum production.
Notable Ingredients: Portulaca Oleracea Extract (5th listed); niacinamide (6th); Acer Saccharum Extract (7th); Chamomilla Recutita Extract (8th); Camellia Sinensis Extract (10th); betaine (11th); Chlorella Vulgaris Extract (14th). Overall the ingredients seem pretty good! The various extracts make for a good source of nourishing antioxidants, and niacinamide remains a skincare rockstar that can help brighten the skin and improve its overall tone.
Fit: A black sheet that contains activated charcoal and volcanic ash to help draw out impurities from the skin -- supposedly, anyway! The material is thicker but soft, and it fit comfortably and adhered well.
Essence/Fragrance: Although there is little essence remaining in the packet itself, my sheet mask was literally dripping essence when I removed it from the packet. It’s a clear, more viscous essence, with a heavier consistency, more similar to a thicker serum. Like most @leadersusa
masks I’ve tested in the past, the essence smells vaguely of citrus, but mostly of a generic fragrance that I can’t quite put my finger on. It’s not unpleasant, but I wouldn’t call it subtle either. Perhaps my skin was feeling sensitive, but I did feel a very slight stinging sensation while wearing the mask, particularly on my chin. This went away after around 20 minutes.
