Nav’s collab album with Metro Boomin was a huge letdown. I was a big fan of his when he used to release singles on SoundCloud. The album was pretty garbage besides the production. Metro was really the one who saved it for me. The only reason the replay value is a bit high is purely because of the vibes SOME tracks give. There’s no point of talking of his lyrical ability. It’s very repetitive being about drugs, being poor and now rich, and how he’s always fucking on your bitch. The autotune he uses is very annoying but his flow is sometimes good. The album opened up with a nicely produced intro. It transitions to a boring track because of the flow. It doesn’t change as well as the beat. He bounces back with “Hit,” a hype song. Then moving on to “A$AP Ferg,” which was super annoying. Nav didn’t really do much and Uzi’s voice was just dreadful to listen to. “Held Me Down” was a kind of RnB track and he’s just talking about his interest in a girl. “Minute” was an amazing track. It was the first track i really enjoyed. Offset went off and Playboi Carti’s feature was nice as always. “Did You See NAV?” was just a flexing song about how a lot of people want to be him and want a feature. “Bring It Back” was the worst song with really annoying vocals. As Well as “Both Sides” where 21 Savage actually saved the track. Call Me is my favorite off the album and the production is great with nice lyrics I guess. “You Know” was another boring track and really the slow production was what saved it. “Rich” has some nice production but the hook is annoying. “Need Some” was saved by Gucci Mane again and the production is great. “I Am” has some weird ass lyrics but the beat is amazing! “NAVUZIMETRO#PT2
” was a good outro with a nice Uzi feature. In conclusion, i wouldn’t recommend listening to all of it and it’s only for a vibe.
